Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- Do not immerse cord, plug, or toaster in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- To disconnect, press the CANCEL button, then remove plug from wall outlet.

- Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must not be inserted in a toaster as they may involve a risk of fire or electric shock.
- A fire may occur if toasters are covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
- Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
- Do not toast with jam, cream, butter, honey, peanut butter, or other liquids, as the toaster may be damaged or short-circuited.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials.
- Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the toaster.
- First Use (Burn-off Cycle): Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster without bread on the highest browning setting (Level 6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal. Allow the toaster to cool completely.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

The toaster features two independent control panels, allowing you to toast different items simultaneously with separate settings.
Selecting Browning Levels
Choose from 6 adjustable shade levels to achieve your desired toast crispness, from light (Level 1) to dark (Level 6).

- Insert bread into the toasting slots.
- On the desired control panel, touch the number corresponding to your preferred browning level (1-6).
Selecting Bread Modes
The toaster offers specialized settings for optimal results with different types of bread.

- Bagel: Toasts the cut side of bagels while gently warming the outer side.
- Waffle: Optimized for toasting waffles.
- Bread: Standard setting for regular bread slices.
- Pastry: Ideal for pastries.
- English Muffin: Specifically designed for English muffins.
- Gluten-Free: Adjusts toasting time for gluten-free bread.
To select a bread mode, touch the corresponding icon on the control panel after selecting your browning level.

- Defrost: Gently toasts frozen bread without overcooking. Select your browning level, then press the Defrost button.
- Reheat: Warms up previously toasted bread without further browning. Press the Reheat button.
- Cancel: Stops the toasting cycle at any time. Press the Cancel button.
The extra-wide 1.5-inch slots accommodate a variety of items beyond traditional bread slices, such as thick-cut artisan bread, sweet potato toast, tortillas, pita pizzas, and fish sticks.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
- Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Crumb Trays: Pull out the removable crumb trays located at the bottom of the toaster. Discard crumbs and wipe the trays clean with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly before reinserting.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
- Interior: Never insert utensils or fingers into the toasting slots. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster and carefully invert it to remove the item.
- Storage: When not in use, the power cord can be wrapped around the cord wrap storage area at the base of the toaster. Store the toaster in a dry, clean place.
