Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level surface away from heat sources and water.
  3. Water Tank: Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water. Ensure it is properly seated.

  1. Bean Hopper: Open the bean hopper lid and fill with fresh whole coffee beans. Close the lid securely.

  1. Initial Rinse: Before first use, perform an initial rinse cycle without coffee to clean the internal system. Refer to the operating instructions for brewing a Lungo, but without adding coffee beans to the portafilter.

The Baristina machine simplifies espresso making with its intuitive design.

Brewing Espresso

  1. Insert Portafilter: Ensure the portafilter is clean and empty. Insert it into the machine's brewing head and swipe the handle to the right until it clicks into place. The machine will automatically grind and tamp the beans.

  1. Select Drink: Press the "Espresso" button for a single shot, or the "Extra Shot" button for a more intense flavor.

Brewing Lungo

  1. Insert Portafilter: As with espresso, insert the portafilter and swipe the handle.
  2. Select Lungo: Press the "Lungo" button for a longer, Italian-style mini-Americano.

  2. Wipe Clean: Wipe the portafilter with a dry cloth. There are no messy hidden compartments.
