4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Tablet

Before first use, fully charge your DOMO Slate S10 DC tablet. You can use either the dedicated DC charging port or the Type-C USB port.

1. Connect the charging power adapter to the DC charging port or the USB cable to the Type-C port on the tablet.
2. Plug the other end of the adapter/USB cable into a power outlet.
3. The battery icon on the screen will indicate charging status.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

4.2 Inserting SIM Card and MicroSD Card

The DOMO Slate S10 DC supports a single 4G SIM card and a MicroSD card for expandable storage.

1. Locate the SIM/MicroSD card slot on the side of the tablet.
2. Carefully open the slot cover.
3. Insert the 4G SIM card into the designated SIM slot with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring proper orientation.
4. Insert the MicroSD card (up to 512GB) into its designated slot.
5. Close the slot cover securely.

4.3 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the DOMO logo appears.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears, then select "Power off".
• To Lock/Unlock Screen: Briefly press the Power button.

5.1 Basic Navigation

The DOMO Slate S10 DC features a multi-touch capacitive screen for intuitive navigation.

• Tap: To select an item or open an application.
• Touch & Hold: To access contextual menus or drag items.
• Swipe: To scroll through screens or lists.
• Pinch-to-Zoom: To zoom in or out on images or web pages.

5.2 Connectivity

• Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi to connect to available Wi-Fi networks.
• Bluetooth: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth to pair with Bluetooth devices like headphones or speakers.
• Cellular Data (4G VoLTE): Ensure your SIM card is inserted correctly. Enable mobile data in Quick Settings or Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network. The tablet supports VOLTE for high-quality voice calls over 4G.
• GPS: The inbuilt GPS chip allows for location services and navigation. Ensure Location is enabled in Settings > Location.
