Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure the power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.

1. Remove Old Fixture (if applicable): Carefully disconnect and remove any existing light fixture from the junction box.
2. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the junction box using the appropriate screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
3. Connect Wiring: Connect the wires from the new iMaihom light to the household wiring using the included wire nuts. Match colors: black to black (hot), white to white (neutral), and green to ground (bare copper). Wrap electrical tape around wire nuts for added security.
4. Mount the Light: Align the light fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it with the long machine screw provided. Ensure the gasket is properly seated between the fixture and the mounting surface to prevent water intrusion.
5. Adjust Light Heads: Loosen the Phillips screw on the main head to adjust its angle. The side LED heads can also be articulated to direct light as desired.

Operating Instructions

The iMaihom motion sensor light offers multiple operating modes and adjustable settings located on the bottom of the motion sensor unit.

Control Dials:

• TEST Mode (Left Dial): Used for initial setup and testing. In this mode, the light will turn on for 5 seconds when motion is detected, regardless of ambient light.
• TIME (Middle Dial): Adjusts the duration the light stays on after motion is detected, ranging from 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
• SENSITIVITY (Right Dial): Controls the detection range of the motion sensor (L: 19-26.2ft, M: 26.2-39.3ft, H: 39.3-72ft). Adjust this to prevent false triggers from small animals or distant objects.

Operating Modes:

• Motion Sensor Mode: The light activates only when motion is detected in dark conditions. The duration and sensitivity are set by the TIME and SENSITIVITY dials.
• Dusk to Dawn Mode (D2D): The built-in photocell sensor automatically turns the light ON when ambient light levels fall below a certain threshold (dusk) and OFF when light levels rise (dawn). Motion detection is typically overridden or integrated based on specific settings.

Maintenance
