5. Setup

5.1 Battery Charging

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Insert the 12V Lithium-Ion battery into the charger.
3. The charger will indicate the charging status: a red light typically means charging, and a green light indicates a full charge.
4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

5.2 Attaching Sockets and Accessories

1. Ensure the ratchet is turned off and the safety lock is engaged.
2. Align the desired socket or extension bar with the 3/8" output shaft of the ratchet.
3. Push firmly until the accessory clicks securely into place.
4. To remove, pull the accessory firmly away from the shaft.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off and Variable Speed

• To activate the ratchet, press the paddle switch. The speed is variable; pressing harder will increase the speed up to 280 RPM.
• Release the paddle switch to turn off the ratchet.

6.2 Forward/Reverse Operation

• Locate the Forward/Reverse switch on the back of the ratchet head.
• Slide the switch to the desired direction for fastening (forward) or unscrewing (reverse).

6.3 Safety Lock

• The safety lock is located near the paddle switch. Engage it to prevent accidental activation of the tool when not in use.

6.4 LED Work Light

• The built-in LED light automatically illuminates the work area when the paddle switch is pressed, providing visibility in dark or confined spaces.

6.5 Operational Tips

• For very tight bolts, it is recommended to manually break them loose with the ratchet before using the electric motor to speed up removal.
• Similarly, for fastening, use the electric motor to quickly run the bolt in, then manually tighten to the desired torque if necessary.
