2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Mounting
The blinder light comes with a flexible mounting bracket for various installation options. Ensure the mounting surface or structure can support the weight of the fixture.
- Ceiling/Truss Mount: Use appropriate clamps (not included) to secure the bracket to a truss or ceiling bar.
- Floor Stand: The bracket can be adjusted to allow the light to sit stably on a flat surface.
- Tripod Mount: The light can be mounted on a standard lighting tripod for adjustable height and positioning.

3.2 Power Connection
Connect the provided power cable to the 'POWER IN' port on the rear panel of the fixture and then to a suitable power outlet. The device operates on standard AC power.
3.3 DMX Connection (Optional)
For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller's 'DMX OUT' to the 'DMX IN' port on the blinder light. For multiple units, daisy-chain them by connecting the 'DMX OUT' of the first unit to the 'DMX IN' of the next, and so on.

4. Operating Modes
The blinder light features a digital display and control buttons on the rear panel for mode selection and parameter adjustment.
4.1 Control Panel
The rear panel includes a digital display and four buttons: MENU, UP, DOWN, and ENTER. Use these buttons to navigate through the settings and select operating modes.

4.2 DMX512 Mode
This mode allows external control of the light's functions via a DMX controller. The fixture supports 4 or 8 DMX channels. Refer to the DMX channel chart in the full manual for specific channel assignments.
4.3 Auto Run Mode
The light will cycle through pre-programmed internal shows automatically. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select different auto programs.
4.4 Sound Control Mode
In this mode, the light's effects will react to ambient sound or music detected by its built-in microphone. Adjust sensitivity if needed.
4.5 Master-Slave Mode
Connect multiple units via DMX cables. Set one unit as the 'Master' (e.g., in Auto or Sound mode) and the others as 'Slave' units. The slave units will then synchronize their effects with the master unit.
4.6 Strobe and Dimmer
Adjust the strobe speed (flash rate) and overall brightness (dimmer) using the control panel or via DMX.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and extends the lifespan of the device.
- Disconnect power before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior.
- For lenses, use a specialized lens cleaner and cloth to avoid scratches.
- Periodically clean ventilation openings to ensure proper airflow.
5.2 Storage
When not in use, store the light in a dry, dust-free environment, preferably in its original packaging or a protective case.
