Setup
1. Charging the Camera
Before initial use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the USB-C end to the camera's charging port (located under the rubber cover at the bottom) and the USB-A end to a compatible 5V/2A power adapter (not included). The status indicator light will show charging progress and turn solid when fully charged. A full charge can provide up to 5 months of standby use or at least one month with regular activity.
2. App Installation and Pairing
- Download the Vicohome app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Tap the '+' icon in the app to add a new device.
- Select your camera model (CG6E) from the list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens. You will hear a confirmation tone when pairing is successful.
3. Mounting the Camera
The camera is IP66 waterproof, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use. Choose a mounting location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within Wi-Fi range.
- Attach the mounting bracket to your desired surface (wall, ceiling, etc.) using the provided screws and anchors.
- Securely screw the camera onto the mounting bracket's threaded interface.
- Adjust the camera angle to cover the desired monitoring area. The swivel design allows for flexible positioning.

Operating Instructions
1. Live View
Access real-time video streaming from your camera via the Vicohome app. Simply tap on the camera feed to view live footage. You can also expand the view to full screen for a more detailed look.
2. Motion Detection & Alerts
The camera features advanced AI motion detection to identify human movement. When motion is detected, the camera will send instant alerts to your smartphone via the Vicohome app. You can customize detection sensitivity and notification settings within the app.
