1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the INSIGNIA 40" Class F20 Series LED Full HD Smart Fire TV. 2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using your TV. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Power Source: Connect the TV only to the type of power source indicated on the marking label.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Water and Moisture: Do not expose the TV to rain or moisture. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the TV.
  • Cleaning: Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

4. Setup

4.1 Attaching the Stand

If you are not wall-mounting your TV, you will need to attach the included stand. Ensure the TV is placed face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

  1. Align each stand leg with the corresponding screw holes on the bottom of the TV.
  2. Secure each leg with the provided screws. Do not overtighten.

4.2 Connecting Devices

Your TV features multiple input ports for connecting various devices. Refer to the image below for port locations.

  • HDMI (1 ARC, 2): Connect Blu-ray players, game consoles, cable/satellite boxes, or other HDMI devices. HDMI 1 supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) for simplified audio connections to soundbars or AV receivers.
  • USB: Connect USB storage devices for media playback.
  • ETHERNET: Connect an Ethernet cable for a wired internet connection.
  • CABLE/ANT: Connect an antenna or cable TV coaxial cable.
  • OPTICAL (Audio Out): Connect to a soundbar or audio receiver for digital audio output.
  • AV IN (Adapter): Use the included adapter cable to connect older devices with composite video and stereo audio outputs.
  • Headphone Jack: Connect headphones for private listening.

4.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cable into the AC IN port on the back of the TV, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.

4.4 Remote Control Setup

Insert the two AAA batteries (included) into the Alexa Voice Remote, matching the polarity indicators (+/-).

5. Operating Your Fire TV

5.1 Initial Setup Wizard

5.5 Smart Home Integration

6. Maintenance
