Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.

  1. Preparation: Turn off the electrical power at the main circuit breaker. Ensure the ceiling is structurally sound to support the fan.
  2. Mounting Bracket Installation: Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist or an approved electrical junction box using the provided screws.
  3. Downrod Assembly: Feed the electrical wires from the fan motor through the downrod. Attach the downrod to the fan motor assembly, securing it with the provided pin and screws.
  4. Wiring Connections: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring. Typically, connect the green/yellow wire (Ground) to household ground, the blue wire (Neutral) to household neutral, and the brown/red wire (Live) to household live. Ensure the remote receiver unit is connected correctly between the household wiring and the fan wiring.
  5. Fan Unit Attachment: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the mounting bracket. Secure the fan to the bracket with the designated screws.
  6. Canopy Installation: Slide the canopy upwards to cover the mounting bracket and all wiring connections. Secure the canopy in place.
  7. Final Check: Double-check all electrical connections for security and proper insulation. Ensure all screws are tightened. Restore power at the main circuit breaker.
