4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Align the battery with the back of the radio.
- Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.
- To remove, press the release latch and slide the battery off.
4.2 Antenna Attachment
- Screw the antenna clockwise onto the connector at the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
4.3 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the battery. The TD-H3 Plus supports multiple charging methods:
- Desktop Charger: Place the radio (with battery installed) into the desktop charging cradle. Ensure the charging indicator light illuminates.
- USB-C Direct Charging: Connect a USB-C cable to the bottom USB-C port on the radio and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, car charger, laptop).

4.4 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Rotate the power/volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and the screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Rotate the power/volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the screen turns off.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Communication (PTT)
- Ensure the radio is powered on and on the desired GMRS channel.
- Hold the radio vertically with the microphone approximately 2-3 inches from your mouth.
- Press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button on the side of the radio to transmit. Speak clearly into the microphone.
- Release the PTT button to listen.
5.2 Channel Selection and Volume Control
- Use the Up/Down arrow keys to navigate through channels or frequencies.

5.4 NOAA Weather Radio
To access NOAA weather alerts:
- Navigate to the NOAA Weather Radio function in the menu or use a customizable side key shortcut if assigned.

- Download and install the Odmaster App on your iOS or Android device.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the radio.
- Open the app, select "Connect," and pair with your TD-H3 Plus radio.
- Choose the TD-H3 Plus GMRS model within the app.

6.2 Odmaster App Advanced Functions
