  • Cleaning: Wipe the lock's exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are secure. Ensure the door frame and strike plate are free from obstructions.

5. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your smart door lock.

  • Lock Not Responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the lock is properly installed and all cables are connected.
  • Fingerprint Not Recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint in the app.
  • Keypad Not Lighting Up: Tap the keypad to wake it up. If it still doesn't respond, check battery levels.
  • Auto-Lock Not Functioning: Verify that the auto-lock feature is enabled and the delay time is set correctly in the app. Ensure the door closes completely.
  • Remote Access Issues: Confirm that the G2 Gateway (sold separately) is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network and paired with the lock. Check your internet connection.
