1. Introduction

The EVERCROSS BOT Y80 is an advanced solar-powered robotic pool skimmer designed to efficiently clean the surface of your swimming pool. 3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your EVERCROSS BOT Y80:

1. Unpack and Prepare: Carefully remove the skimmer from its packaging. Ensure all components, including the remote control and charger, are present.
2. Unfold Solar Panel and Access Dustbin: Pull out the dustbin and unfold the solar panel. This prepares the unit for operation and allows access for cleaning.



3. Power On and Place in Pool: Press the power button on the unit. Once powered on, gently place the pool robot onto the surface of your pool.



4. Initial Charging: For first-time use or after prolonged storage, it is recommended to fully charge the device using the provided charger. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours. Solar charging will also commence automatically when exposed to sunlight.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the EVERCROSS BOT Y80, press the power button located on the top of the unit. To power off, press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn off.

4.2 Remote Control Functions

The included remote control provides convenient operation of your pool skimmer:

• Speed Adjustment: Select between fast or slow cleaning modes.
• Directional Control: Manually steer the robot forward, backward, left, or right.
• Spot Cleaning: Direct the robot to focus cleaning on a specific area.
• Pause: Temporarily stop the robot's operation.

4.3 Charging

The Y80 supports two charging methods:

• Solar Charging: The integrated solar panel continuously charges the battery when exposed to sunlight, even during operation. This provides extended runtime, up to 12 hours on sunny days.
• Wired Charging: Use the provided charger to quickly charge the battery. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.

4.4 Automatic Return and Parking

When the battery level is low, the EVERCROSS BOT Y80 will automatically navigate to the edge of the pool and park itself, making it easy to retrieve for charging or maintenance.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your EVERCROSS BOT Y80.

5.1 Cleaning the Dustbin and Filter

The robot is equipped with an 8L dustbin and a 180 µm filter to collect debris. It is recommended to empty and clean these regularly, depending on the amount of debris in your pool.

1. Retrieve the robot from the pool.
2. Open the dustbin compartment and remove the dustbin and filter.
3. Empty collected debris into a waste bin.
4. Rinse the dustbin and filter thoroughly with clean water. Ensure all debris is removed from the filter mesh.
5. Allow the dustbin and filter to dry completely before reinserting them into the robot.

5.2 Battery Care

• Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
• If storing the robot for an extended period, ensure the battery is charged to at least 50% and recharge it every 3 months to maintain battery health.
• Store the robot in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
