Safety Instructions

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier and all packaging materials from the box. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Position the dehumidifier on a firm, flat, and level surface in the area where humidity reduction is desired. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clear space around all sides of the unit for optimal airflow. This unit is suitable for basements, bedrooms, bathrooms, RVs, closets, and living rooms.
3. Water Tank Installation: Ensure the 98 OZ water tank is securely inserted into its designated slot at the bottom front of the unit. The unit will not operate if the tank is not properly seated.

Operating Instructions

The PSOS Dehumidifier features an intuitive touch control panel on its top surface.

• Power ON/OFF

  Press the Power button (represented by a circle with a vertical line) on the control panel to turn the dehumidifier on or off. Upon powering on, the unit will automatically begin operation.

• Humidity Control

  Press the Humidity Setting button (represented by a gear icon) to adjust the desired humidity level. The unit is designed to maintain humidity levels between approximately 45% and 55% for optimal comfort and efficiency. The display will show the current humidity and temperature.

• Light Control

  Press the Light button (represented by a sun or lightbulb icon) to cycle through various internal light colors (e.g., red, blue) or to turn the light feature off. This light illuminates the water tank, allowing you to easily monitor the water level.

• Sleep Mode

  Activate Sleep Mode by pressing the Moon icon (represented by a moon icon). In this mode, the control panel display lights will turn off, and the unit will operate at its quietest setting to ensure undisturbed sleep.

• Water Level Indicator

  The transparent strip on the front of the dehumidifier provides a visual indication of the collected water level in the tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.

1. Emptying and Cleaning the Water Tank:
   • When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating.
   • Gently pull out the water tank from the front bottom of the unit.
   • Remove the lid and carefully empty the collected water.
   • Clean the tank with mild soap and water if necessary, then rinse thoroughly.
   • Replace the lid and slide the tank back into the unit until it is securely in place.
2. Cleaning the Exterior:
   • Wipe the exterior surfaces of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth.
   • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
3. Cleaning Air Intake/Exhaust Grilles:
   • Periodically inspect the air intake and exhaust grilles for dust and debris buildup.
   • Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment to gently remove any accumulated dust. This helps maintain efficient airflow.
