4. Installation Guide

Follow these steps to properly install the EDYELL A1 headset into your motorcycle helmet.

4.1 Mounting the Headset Unit

1. Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet, ensuring it does not obstruct your vision or helmet functionality.
2. Attach the clamping base to the helmet shell. You can use the provided screws for a secure fit or the thick double-sided tape for a less permanent solution.
3. Slide the EDYELL A1 main unit onto the clamping base until it clicks into place.

4.2 Speaker and Microphone Placement

1. Carefully remove the helmet's inner padding to expose the ear pockets.
2. Attach the speakers to the inside of the helmet's ear pockets using the speaker Velcro. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality.
3. Route the speaker wires discreetly under the helmet padding to the main unit.
4. Attach the microphone to the inside of the helmet's chin bar, positioning it close to your mouth but away from direct wind. Use the microphone Velcro tape to secure it.
5. Connect the microphone cable to the main unit.
6. Reinstall the helmet's inner padding, ensuring no wires are pinched or exposed.

5. Basic Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a power icon) for approximately 3 seconds until the LED display illuminates and you hear an audible prompt.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED display turns off and you hear an audible prompt.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power button for about 5-7 seconds until the LED display shows a pairing indicator (e.g., flashing Bluetooth icon) and you hear a "Pairing" voice prompt.
3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
4. Select "EDYELL A1" from the list.
5. Once connected, the LED display will show a steady Bluetooth icon, and you will hear a "Connected" voice prompt.

5.3 Volume Control

• Increase Volume: Press the Volume Up button (often marked with '+').
• Decrease Volume: Press the Volume Down button (often marked with '-').

5.4 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button (often the main 'M' button or Power button when not in call).
• Next Track: Press the Next Track button (often marked with '>>' or a forward arrow).
• Previous Track: Press the Previous Track button (often marked with '<<' or a backward arrow).

5.5 Call Management

• Answer Call: The headset will automatically answer incoming calls after 10 seconds. You can also short press the Multi-function button to answer immediately.
• End Call: Short press the Multi-function button during a call.
