Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or labels.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Wash all removable accessories (baking tray, wire rack, crumb tray, rotisserie set) in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Placement: Place the oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 4 inches) on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place the oven near flammable materials such as curtains or walls.
  4. First Use (Burn-in): Before cooking food, operate the oven empty for approximately 15 minutes at 450°F on the "Bake" setting. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. A slight smoke or odor is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the control dials before operation:

  • Temperature Dial: Used to select the desired cooking temperature.
  • Function Dial: Used to select the cooking mode (Bake, Broil, Toast, Rotisserie, Convection).
  • Timer Dial: Used to set the cooking duration. The oven will automatically turn off and ring a bell when the timer expires. For continuous operation, turn the timer past the "60" minute mark to the "Stay On" setting.

General Operation:

  1. Place the wire rack, baking tray, or rotisserie assembly into the desired position inside the oven.
  2. Place food on the appropriate accessory.
  3. Close the French doors securely.
  4. Set the Temperature Dial to the desired temperature.
  5. Set the Function Dial to the desired cooking mode.
  6. Set the Timer Dial to the desired cooking time. The power indicator light will illuminate, indicating the oven is operating.
  7. When cooking is complete, the timer will ring and the oven will turn off. If using the "Stay On" setting, manually turn the timer dial to "OFF" to stop cooking.
  8. Carefully remove cooked food using oven mitts.

Specific Functions:

  • Bake: Ideal for cakes, cookies, casseroles, and other baked goods. Use the baking tray or an oven-safe dish on the wire rack. Set the Function Dial to "Bake".
  • Broil: Perfect for browning, toasting, or cooking thin cuts of meat. Place food on the wire rack with the crumb tray underneath to catch drips. Set the Function Dial to "Broil". Monitor food closely to prevent burning.
  • Toast: For toasting bread, bagels, or frozen waffles. Place items directly on the wire rack. Set the Function Dial to "Toast". Adjust the timer for desired browning.
  • Rotisserie: For roasting whole chickens or roasts. Assemble the rotisserie spit with the food securely fastened. Insert the spit into the rotisserie drive socket on the right side of the oven and rest the other end on the support on the left. Set the Function Dial to "Rotisserie". Ensure the crumb tray is in place to catch drippings.
  • Convection: Activates the convection fan for faster and more even cooking. This setting is often used in conjunction with Bake or Roast functions. Set the Function Dial to the desired convection mode (e.g., "Convection Bake").

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  • Interior: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild liquid soap. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
  • Exterior: Clean the exterior surface with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the oven in water.
  • Accessories: The baking tray, wire rack, crumb tray, and rotisserie set can be washed in warm, soapy water. For easier cleaning, soak them in warm water before washing. These accessories are not dishwasher safe.
  • Crumb Tray: The crumb tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup and potential fire hazards. Slide out the crumb tray from the bottom front of the oven.
