Control Panel

Setup
Initial Charge
- Locate the charging port on the rear of the speaker, protected by a sealed cover.
- Open the cover and connect the provided charger to the charging port.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- Allow the speaker to charge fully before first use. The battery indicator lights on the control panel will show charging progress and full charge status.
Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power button on the control panel until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator lights turn off.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure your Turtlebox Original Gen 3 is powered on.
- Press the Bluetooth button on the control panel. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "Turtlebox Gen 3" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will glow solid.
Party Mode (Multi-Speaker Pairing)
Party Mode allows you to connect multiple Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers for a synchronized audio experience. Note: Only Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers are compatible with each other for Party Mode. Older generations (Gen 1, Gen 2) are not compatible.
- Ensure all Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers you wish to pair are powered on and within range.
- Connect your primary device to one speaker via Bluetooth (follow the Bluetooth Pairing steps above). This will be your "Master" speaker.
- On the Master speaker, press the Party Mode button. The Party Mode indicator light will flash.
- On each additional speaker (Slave speakers), press the Party Mode button. The Slave speakers will automatically search for and connect to the Master speaker.
- Once all speakers are connected, the Party Mode indicator lights on all speakers will glow solid. You can now enjoy synchronized audio across multiple speakers.
Audio Playback
- Control playback (play/pause, skip tracks) directly from your connected device or using the Track buttons on the speaker's control panel.
- Adjust volume using the Volume buttons (+/-) on the speaker or from your connected device.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a damp cloth to remove dirt or debris. For stubborn stains, use mild soap and water. Ensure all port covers are securely closed before cleaning with water.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use. For long-term storage, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to maintain battery health.
- Battery Care: Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently. Recharge the speaker regularly, especially after extended periods of non-use.
- Port Covers: Always ensure the protective covers over the charging and auxiliary ports are securely sealed when not in use to maintain the IP67 waterproof rating.
