Setup

Initial Charge

  1. Locate the charging port on the rear of the speaker, protected by a sealed cover.
  2. Open the cover and connect the provided charger to the charging port.
  3. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Allow the speaker to charge fully before first use. The battery indicator lights on the control panel will show charging progress and full charge status.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure your Turtlebox Original Gen 3 is powered on.
  2. Press the Bluetooth button on the control panel. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Select "Turtlebox Gen 3" from the list of available devices.
  5. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will glow solid.

Party Mode (Multi-Speaker Pairing)

Party Mode allows you to connect multiple Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers for a synchronized audio experience. Note: Only Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers are compatible with each other for Party Mode. Older generations (Gen 1, Gen 2) are not compatible.

  1. Ensure all Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers you wish to pair are powered on and within range.
  2. Connect your primary device to one speaker via Bluetooth (follow the Bluetooth Pairing steps above). This will be your "Master" speaker.
  3. On the Master speaker, press the Party Mode button. The Party Mode indicator light will flash.
  4. On each additional speaker (Slave speakers), press the Party Mode button. The Slave speakers will automatically search for and connect to the Master speaker.
  5. Once all speakers are connected, the Party Mode indicator lights on all speakers will glow solid. You can now enjoy synchronized audio across multiple speakers.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Speaker does not power on.Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to the charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
Cannot connect via Bluetooth.
  • Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing blue light).
  • Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Move your device closer to the speaker (within 30 meters).
  • Forget "Turtlebox Gen 3" from your device's Bluetooth settings and attempt to pair again.
  • Restart both the speaker and your device.
No sound or low volume.
  • Increase the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the speaker is properly connected via Bluetooth or auxiliary cable.
  • Check if the audio source on your device is playing.
Party Mode not connecting.
  • Verify all speakers are Turtlebox Original Gen 3 models.
  • Ensure all speakers are in Party Mode pairing (flashing light).
  • Make sure the Master speaker is connected to your device first.
  • Try resetting Party Mode on all speakers and re-pairing.
