4. Setup Instructions

  1. 4.1. Power On the Camera

    Connect the provided power cable to the camera's power port and plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

  2. 4.2. Download the Sensforge App

    Search for the "Sensforge" app in your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and download it. Create an account or log in if you already have one.

  3. 4.3. Add the Camera to the App

    Open the Sensforge app. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. This typically involves scanning a QR code located on the camera or its packaging. Ensure your phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the camera.

  4. 4.4. Connect to Wi-Fi

    During the setup process, the app will prompt you to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. The Sensforge camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Select your preferred network and enter the password. Ensure the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router for a stable connection.

    Your camera comes with an SD card pre-installed. If you need to replace or access it, locate the SD card slot on the camera (refer to the camera's physical diagram in the app or quick start guide). Gently insert or remove the SD card as instructed.

  1. 5.1. Live View

    Once the camera is successfully added to the app, tap on the camera's name in the device list to access the live video feed. You can view real-time footage from your camera.

  2. 5.2. Pan and Tilt Control

    On the live view screen, use the directional controls (usually a joystick or arrows) within the app to remotely pan (rotate horizontally) and tilt (move vertically) the camera lens to adjust its viewing angle.

  3. 5.3. Two-Way Audio Communication

    Tap the microphone icon in the app's live view to speak through the camera. Tap the speaker icon to hear audio from the camera's environment. The camera also supports initiating calls from the device itself to the app.

  4. 5.4. Recording and Playback

    The camera continuously records to the pre-installed SD card. To view past recordings, navigate to the 'Playback' or 'History' section within the app. You can browse by date and time to review recorded events. Motion-triggered events are typically highlighted for easy access.

  5. 5.5. Motion Detection and Alerts

    Configure motion detection sensitivity and set up specific motion zones within the app's settings. When motion is detected, the camera will record the event and send instant notifications to your smartphone. You can adjust sensitivity to reduce false alerts.
