5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.

  1. Place the main unit on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Attach the flexible duct to the air inlet on top of the main unit by screwing it clockwise until secure.
  3. Attach the suction hood to the free end of the flexible duct.

The main filter and one pre-filter are typically pre-installed. If not, or for replacement:

  1. Unlock and open the top cover of the main unit.
  2. Insert the main 2-in-1 filter into the filter compartment, ensuring it sits correctly.
  3. Place a pre-filter on top of the main filter.
  4. Close the top cover and secure the locks.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  1. Connect the power cord to the unit and then to a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn the unit on. The indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the unit off.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Filter Replacement

Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining the performance and efficiency of your fume extractor. The pre-filters should be checked and replaced more frequently than the main filter.

  1. Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged from the electrical outlet.
  2. Unlock and open the top cover of the main unit.
  3. Carefully remove the saturated pre-filter(s) and dispose of them properly.
  4. If replacing the main filter, lift it out of the compartment.
