4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Physical Installation
The switch supports both desktop placement and wall-mounting. Choose the installation method that best suits your environment.

Ensure proper ventilation around the device, especially if operating under heavy load, to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating.
4.2 Connecting the Switch
Connect your network devices (NAS, PCs, routers, etc.) to the RJ45 or SFP+ ports on the switch using appropriate Ethernet cables or SFP+ transceivers.

4.3 Initial Web Management Access

- Open a web browser and navigate to the default IP address: http://192.168.2.1.
- Enter the default login credentials:

5. Operation
5.1 Configuring Port Settings
The web management interface allows you to configure various settings for each port, including transmission speed.
- Log in to the web interface.
- Navigate to the "Port Setting" section.
- Select the desired port and choose the appropriate speed (e.g., 10M, 100M, 1G, 2.5G, 5G, 10G) and duplex mode (Auto, Full, Half).
- Click "Apply" to save the changes.
- After applying settings, ensure you save the configuration and reboot the switch for changes to take effect.

5.2 Advanced Management Functions

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cooling System
The switch is equipped with an internal cooling fan to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Ensure that the ventilation holes are not obstructed to allow for proper airflow. Regularly check for dust accumulation and clean as needed to prevent overheating.

6.2 Lightning Protection
The device includes 4KV lightning protection. For enhanced safety, especially in areas prone to electrical storms, ensure the grounding screw is properly connected to an earth ground.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the switch and a working power outlet. Check the power indicator light on the switch.
- No Network Connection:
- Verify that Ethernet cables are properly connected to both the switch and your devices.
- Check the link/activity LEDs on the ports. If they are off, try a different cable or port.
- Ensure your device's network adapter is enabled and configured correctly.
- Cannot Access Web Management Interface:
- Confirm your PC's IP address is in the same subnet as the switch (default 192.168.2.1).
- Try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser.
- Ensure there are no IP address conflicts on your network.
- If the default IP has been changed and forgotten, a factory reset may be necessary (refer to the reset button in Section 4.2).
- Slow Network Speed:
- Verify that all connected devices and cables support the desired speed (e.g., 10Gbps).
- Check port speed settings in the web management interface (Section 5.1).
- Ensure the switch is adequately cooled and not overheating.
- Device Malfunction: If the switch exhibits unusual behavior, try rebooting it. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. If problems continue, contact customer support.
