Changing Intercom Channels and Local Numbers

Full Duplex Communication (1-to-1)
The system supports full-duplex communication, allowing both parties to speak and listen simultaneously, similar to a phone call. To initiate a 1-to-1 call:
- Ensure both intercoms are on the same channel code (A or B) but have different local numbers.
- On your unit, press the local number of the intercom you wish to call.
- The receiving intercom will ring, and once answered (or automatically answered if enabled), you can begin your conversation.

- Ensure all intercoms intended for the group call are set to the same group channel.
- Press the GROUP button on your unit.
- Your message will be broadcast to all units in that group.

Automatic Answer Function
When enabled, the automatic answer function allows a receiving intercom to answer an incoming call after two rings without requiring manual intervention. This is particularly useful for elderly care or situations where immediate hands-free communication is needed.

To turn the automatic answering function ON:
- Long press the VOL- key until you hear a beep. A bell icon will appear on the display, indicating success.
To turn the automatic answering function OFF:
- Long press the VOL- key again until you hear a beep. The bell icon will disappear, indicating the function is off.
Silent Mode
When silent mode is turned on, you will not hear the ringing of incoming calls. This is useful for quiet environments.
To turn silent mode ON:
- Long press the VOL+ key until you hear a beep. A speaker-with-slash icon will appear on the display, indicating success.
To turn silent mode OFF:
- Long press the VOL+ key again until you hear a beep. The speaker-with-slash icon will disappear, indicating the function is off.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your SANZUCO Wireless Intercom System, please consider the following common solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the intercom unit and a working electrical outlet. Verify the outlet has power.
- No Communication: Check that both intercom units are powered on and set to the correct channel code (A or B). For 1-to-1 calls, ensure they have different local numbers. For group calls, ensure they are in the same group.
- Static or Poor Sound Quality: Move the intercom units closer to each other or away from potential sources of interference (e.g., large metal objects, other electronic devices). Ensure the units are within the effective operating range.
- Unit Not Responding: Try unplugging the unit from the power source, waiting a few seconds, and then plugging it back in to perform a soft reset.
