1.1 Safety Precautions

3. What's in the Box

Upon unpacking, please ensure all the following components are present:

  • LifePlus Commercial Ice Maker Machine
  • Install Kits (including Drain Hose, Inlet Hose, Ice Scoop, PTFE Tape)
A full set of accessories for the ice maker, including drain hose, inlet hose, ice scoop, and PTFE tape.

4. Installation and Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
  2. Place the unit in an upright position for at least 24 hours before first use. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
  3. Choose a location that is level, stable, and away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

4.2 Water Connection

Your ice maker supports two water inflow methods: automatic tap water connection or manual bucket water filling.

4.2.1 Tap Water Inflow (Automatic)

  1. Connect the provided inlet hose to a potable water supply.
  2. Connect the other end of the inlet hose to the water inlet port on the back of the ice maker.
  3. Ensure the built-in valve on the ice maker is set to the horizontal position for tap water inflow.
  4. Turn on the water supply.

4.2.2 Bucket Water Inflow (Manual)

  1. Place a suitable water bucket (e.g., 5-gallon water bottle) on top of the ice maker, ensuring it is securely seated in the designated inlet.
  2. Ensure the built-in valve on the ice maker is set to the vertical position for bucket water inflow.

4.3 Drainage Connection

Always ensure there is a water outlet near your unit for proper drainage. Connect the drain hose to the drain outlet on the back of the machine and route it to a suitable drain.

5. Operation

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The ice maker features an intuitive control panel with indicator lights and buttons for easy operation.

  • Power Button: Turns the machine on/off.
  • Arrow Buttons: Adjust ice cube size (S-M-L) and thickness.
  • Water Indicator: Lights up when water is absent.
  • Full Indicator: Lights up when the ice storage bin is full.

5.2 Ice Making Process

  1. Ensure the machine is properly connected to a water source and power.
  2. Press the power button to turn on the ice maker.
  3. Use the arrow buttons to select your desired ice cube size (S, M, or L).
  4. The machine will automatically begin the ice making cycle. Ice production typically takes 11-20 minutes per cycle, yielding 36 pieces of ice.
  5. The indicator panel will alert you if the water supply is low or the ice bin is full.

5.3 Adjusting Ice Thickness

The thickness of the ice cubes can be adjusted by pressing the arrow buttons on the control panel. Experiment with the settings to find your preferred ice thickness.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your ice maker.

6.1 Self-Cleaning Function

  1. Before making the first batch of ice, or for regular cleaning, ensure the machine is powered on.
  2. Press and hold the "Scheduled Cleaning" button (if available, or the relevant cleaning button as indicated on your control panel) for more than 5 seconds to activate the "Cleaning Program."
  3. Allow the machine to complete two cleaning cycles for thorough cleaning.

6.2 Regular Cleaning

  • It is recommended to clean the machine regularly based on usage.
  • Unplug the unit before any manual cleaning.

  • Clean the interior, including the ice bin and water reservoir, with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
