4. Package Contents

Before assembly, please ensure all parts are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not proceed with assembly and contact customer support.

Note: Each set is packed into 2 separate cartons for safer handling. These may arrive together or separately.

5. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically takes about 15 minutes per stool. Follow these steps carefully.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Attach Seat to Gas Lift: Align the seat plate (usually pre-attached to the seat) with the top of the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly until it is securely seated.
  3. Insert Gas Lift into Base: Place the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the stool base. Ensure it is fully inserted and stable.
  4. Attach Footrest: Slide the footrest ring over the gas lift cylinder and secure it according to the hardware pack instructions. Typically, this involves tightening screws to hold it in place.
  5. Final Check: Once assembled, gently test the stool for stability. Ensure all connections are tight and the stool does not wobble.

6. Operating Instructions

Height Adjustment:

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever under the seat.

  • To raise the seat: While standing, pull the lever upwards. The seat will automatically rise. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
  • To lower the seat: While seated, pull the lever upwards. The seat will lower under your weight. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.

Swivel Function:

The seat is designed to swivel 360 degrees. Simply rotate the seat in any direction while seated or standing.

7. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your bar stools.

  • Cleaning: The PU leather upholstery is water-resistant and easy to clean. Wipe with a damp cloth to remove spills and dirt. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and then wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Frame Care: Wipe the metal frame with a dry cloth to remove dust.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the PU leather to fade or crack.

8. Troubleshooting

Stool is Wobbly:

  • Ensure all screws and bolts are securely tightened.
  • Check that the base is on a flat, even surface.
  • Verify that the gas lift is fully inserted into the base.

Height Adjustment Not Working:

  • Ensure the lever is fully engaged when pulled.
  • Check for any obstructions around the gas lift mechanism.
  • If the gas lift is completely unresponsive, it may need replacement. Contact customer support.

Squeaking Noise:

  • Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to moving parts, such as the swivel mechanism or gas lift connection points.
  • Ensure all connections are tight.
