1. Introduction

The Audizio Foza is a versatile audio system designed to provide a complete digital radio experience. It combines WiFi internet radio, DAB+, and FM tuners for extensive station access. Additionally, it features Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless streaming, USB playback for MP3 files, and an AUX input for external audio devices. The unit includes convenient dual alarms, a snooze function, and an adjustable sleep timer, all controlled via an intuitive interface and a clear 2.8-inch colour LCD display.

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup

3.1 Power Connection

Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC 12V input port on the rear of the radio. Plug the other end of the adapter into a suitable wall outlet. Ensure the power switch on the back of the unit is in the 'ON' position.

3.2 Antenna Setup

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception. Position the antenna vertically for best signal quality. Handle the antenna with care to prevent damage.

3.3 Initial Power On and Network Configuration

Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through the initial setup wizard. This includes selecting your language and configuring the Wi-Fi network connection. Use the 'Navigate/Enter' dial and 'Menu' button to navigate the on-screen menus.

1. Turn on the radio using the power switch on the rear or the 'Power' button on the front panel/remote.

• Navigate/Enter Dial: Turn to scroll through menus and lists. Press to confirm a selection.
• Skip Buttons (< / >): Navigate between tracks in USB/Bluetooth mode or stations in radio modes.

4.2 Internet Radio

Access thousands of internet radio stations worldwide. Ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection.

1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'Internet Radio' is selected.
2. Use the 'Navigate/Enter' dial to browse stations by genre, location, or search.
3. Press the 'Navigate/Enter' dial to select a station and begin playback.

4.3 DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio

Enjoy high-quality digital radio broadcasts.

1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'DAB Radio' is selected.
2. The radio will automatically perform a full scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations on first use. You can initiate a manual scan by pressing the 'Scan' button.
3. Use the 'Navigate/Enter' dial to scroll through the list of found stations.
4. Press the 'Navigate/Enter' dial to select a station.

4.4 FM Radio

Tune into traditional FM radio broadcasts.

1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'FM Radio' is selected.
2. Press the 'Scan' button to automatically scan for and store available FM stations.
3. Alternatively, use the 'Navigate/Enter' dial to manually tune to a frequency.

4.5 Bluetooth Playback

Stream audio wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled device.

1. Press the 'Mode' button until 'Bluetooth' is selected. The radio will enter pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for 'Audizio Foza'.
3. Select 'Audizio Foza' to pair. Once connected, you can play audio from your device.

4.6 USB Playback

Play MP3 audio files directly from a USB flash drive.

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port on the rear of the radio.
2. Press the 'Mode' button until 'USB' is selected.
3. Use the 'Navigate/Enter' dial to browse folders and select tracks.
4. Press the 'Navigate/Enter' dial to start playback.

4.7 AUX Input

Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm audio cable.

1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN port on the rear of the radio.
2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
3. Press the 'Mode' button until 'AUX In' is selected.
4. Control playback and volume from your external device.

4.8 Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer

The Audizio Foza features dual alarms and a sleep timer for personalized use.

• Setting Alarms: Access the 'Alarm' option in the main menu (press 'Menu' button). Follow the on-screen instructions to set alarm times, sources (buzzer, internet radio, DAB, FM), and recurrence.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the radio. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish.
• Display Care: The 2.8-inch LCD display can be cleaned with a microfiber cloth. Do not press hard on the screen.
• Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the back of the unit are not blocked to prevent overheating.
