Button Functions (Top Panel):
- POWER: Turns the radio on/off.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio (refer to Figure 4.3).
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards and lift it off.
- Insert three (3) AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it upwards until it clicks securely into place.
5.2 Initial Power On
Press the POWER button on the top panel to turn on the radio. The LCD display will illuminate.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Tuning Radio Stations
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.
- Press the AM/FM button to select your desired band (AM or FM).
- Use the Left/Right arrow buttons on the front control panel to manually tune to a specific frequency.
- To automatically scan for stations, press and hold the Left/Right arrow buttons. The radio will stop at the next strong signal.
6.2 Saving Favorite Stations (Presets)
The radio can store up to 20 FM and 20 AM stations.
- Tune to the desired station you wish to save.
- Press the PROG button. The display will show a flashing preset number (e.g., "P01").
- Use the Left/Right arrow buttons to select the desired preset number.
- Press the SELECT button to confirm and save the station.
6.3 Recalling Saved Stations
Press the PROG button briefly, then use the Left/Right arrow buttons to cycle through your saved stations. Press SELECT to choose a station.
6.4 Adjusting Volume
Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the front control panel to increase or decrease the volume level.
6.5 Setting Clock, Alarm, Snooze, and Sleep Timer
Refer to the specific instructions below for each function:
- Clock Set: Press and hold CLOCK SET. Use arrow buttons to adjust hours/minutes, and SELECT to confirm.
- Alarm: Press and hold ALARM. Use arrow buttons to set alarm time, and SELECT to confirm. Press ALARM briefly to activate/deactivate.
- Snooze: When the alarm sounds, press any button (except POWER) to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after a short interval.
- Sleep Timer: Press SLEEP repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, OFF). The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.
6.6 Using Headphones
Plug any standard 3.5mm stereo headphones into the headphone jack located on the side of the radio for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

- Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
