Setup Instructions

1. Battery Installation:

   Insert one new AA battery (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the clock, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Use a good quality battery for optimal performance.

2. Initial Signal Reception:

   After inserting the battery, the clock will automatically begin searching for the MSF radio signal. The second hand will typically move to the 12 o'clock position and remain there until the signal is received and the time is set.

   • Optimal Placement: For best reception, place the clock near a window, ideally facing towards or away from Anthorn, UK. Avoid placing it near electrical equipment such as televisions, computers, or radios, which can cause interference.
   • Patience is Key: Signal reception can take time, especially during initial setup or in areas with weak signals. It may take several hours, or even overnight, for the clock to successfully synchronize. The signal is generally stronger between midnight and 5 AM.
   • Troubleshooting Reception: If the clock does not set after an extended period, try rotating the clock's position or moving it to a different location. Ensure the battery is new and correctly inserted.
3. Automatic Time Setting: Once the signal is successfully received, the clock will automatically set itself to the correct time, including adjustments for Daylight Saving Time (summer/winter time changes).
