4. Setup and Installation
The Pelsee P1 Pro Dash Cam is designed for effortless installation. Follow these steps for a quick setup:
4.1 Front Camera Installation
- Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
- Apply a static sticker to the chosen area on the windshield. This helps in easy removal and repositioning.
- Attach the dash cam to the static sticker using its adhesive mount. Ensure the lens has a clear view of the road.
- Conceal the power cable along the trim of your vehicle using the included cable clips for a neat installation.
4.2 Rear Camera Installation
- Mount the rear camera on the inside of your rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.
- Connect the rear camera to the main dash cam using the provided rear camera cable.
- Route the rear camera cable neatly along the vehicle's interior trim to the front dash cam.
4.3 Power Connection
- Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power socket (cigarette lighter).

5.1 Power On/Off
- Automatic: The dash cam powers on and begins recording automatically when connected to vehicle power and the ignition is turned on. It powers off automatically when the ignition is turned off.
- Manual: Press and hold the power button (if available) to manually turn the device on or off.
5.2 Recording Modes
- Normal Recording: Continuous recording while driving. Footage is saved in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) and loop-recorded.
- Emergency Recording: Triggered by the G-sensor upon impact or manually by pressing the emergency button. These files are locked and not overwritten by loop recording.
- Parking Mode Recording: Activates when the vehicle is parked (requires hardwire kit). Records based on motion detection or impact.
5.3 Menu Navigation
