5. Setup Instructions

This cable is uni-directional, meaning it transmits signals only from an HDMI source to a DisplayPort display. Please follow these steps for proper connection:

  1. Identify Ports: Locate the HDMI output port on your source device (e.g., PC, laptop, PS5, Xbox) and the DisplayPort input on your display device (e.g., monitor, TV, projector).
  2. Connect HDMI: Plug the HDMI connector of the SWITCHFLUX cable into the HDMI output port of your source device.
  3. Connect DisplayPort: Plug the DisplayPort connector of the SWITCHFLUX cable into the DisplayPort input of your display device.
  4. Connect USB-A Power (Optional but Recommended): If the display does not appear or is unstable, connect the integrated USB-A power cable to a USB-A port on your source device, display, or a separate USB power adapter. This provides additional power for stable signal conversion.
  5. Power On Devices: Ensure both your source device and display device are powered on. The connection should be automatically detected.
