3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Mounting the Fixture

The Datewink LED BSW Moving Head Light can be mounted in various orientations (floor, truss, wall) using the provided hook accessories. Ensure the mounting surface or truss system can support the fixture's weight (approximately 22.5 lbs / 9 kg).

1. Attach the two hook accessories to the base of the fixture using appropriate screws.
2. Securely fasten the fixture to a truss or mounting bar.
3. Always use a safety cable (not included) to provide additional security in case of primary mounting failure.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided 1.2M power cable to the "POWER IN" port on the rear of the fixture and then to a suitable AC110-240V, 50/60Hz power supply. The fixture has a rated power consumption of 250W.

3.3 DMX Connection

For DMX control, connect a DMX signal cable from your DMX controller's output to the "DMX IN" port of the first fixture. For multiple fixtures, daisy-chain them by connecting the "DMX OUT" of the first fixture to the "DMX IN" of the next, and so on. Ensure the last fixture in the chain has a DMX terminator (not included) connected to its "DMX OUT" port.

The fixture can be operated using several modes, accessible via the LCD display screen and control buttons on the base.

4.1 LCD Display and Menu Navigation

Use the "UP", "DOWN", "BACK", and "OK" buttons to navigate through the menu options on the LCD display. The display shows the current DMX address and various settings.
