1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the HUTT S7 Window Cleaning Robot. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

2.1 General Precautions

  • Always ensure the safety rope is securely fastened to a solid, immovable object before operation.
  • Do not use the robot on cracked or damaged glass surfaces.
  • Ensure the window frame width is at least 6mm.
  • The glass size must be larger than 30x30 cm.
  • Avoid using the robot on irregularly shaped glass, curved glass, or surfaces with excessively large water droplets.
  • Do not use on surfaces with decorations such as newspapers or stickers.
  • Avoid use in environments with uneven, raised, leaking, or gaping glass glue.
  • Do not place the machine on the ground after use if there are particles or other substances that could stick to the wiping cloth and scratch the glass.
  • In case of remote control malfunction, pull the safety rope against the glass and slowly retrieve the machine.

4. Setup

4.1 Installing the Wiping Cloths

  1. Stretch the bound edge of a wiping cloth and place it onto the turntable from the inside.
  2. After half of the wiping cloth is on, gently press both sides with your hand and stretch to put on the remaining cloth.
  3. Repeat for the other turntable. Ensure cloths are smooth and properly attached.

4.2 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Open the water tank cover.
  2. Fill the tank with cleaning solution or clean water using the provided water bottle.
  3. Plug the tank stopper tightly and check for any leakage.

4.3 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cord of the machine body to the adapter.
  2. Connect the power cord of the plug to the adapter.
  3. Insert the power cord into a powered socket.

4.4 Fixing the Safety Rope

Hang the safety rope buckle on a solid, reliable, and immovable object. When fixing, it is advisable to wind it around the object one or two more times for added security.

5. Operation

5.1 Starting the Machine

  1. Press and hold the start button on the robot for 3 seconds to turn it on.
  2. Place the machine on the glass surface, ensuring it is far from the window frame.
  3. After confirming the machine is adsorbed on the glass, briefly press the circular start button for 1 second. The machine will begin working.

5.2 Automatic Route Planning

After starting, the machine will automatically move upward to the top vertex position. It will then move to the left, reaching the upper left corner of the window. From there, it will wipe the window from top to bottom in an S-shaped path. Depending on the shape of the glass, the machine will take either the lower left or lower right corner as the end point of wiping. Upon completing the work, the machine will return to its starting position.

5.3 Using the Remote Control

The remote control allows for manual operation and mode selection:

  • Water Spray: Press the water spray switch button to turn the water spray function on or off.
  • Direction Keys: Use the direction keys (up, down, left, right) to manually move the robot. Note that there is no water spray when moving in a single direction manually.
  • X1 Key (Double Cleaning): Press the X1 key to initiate a second wiping cycle for deeper cleaning.
  • Path Key (Fixed-Point Cleaning): Press the path key to make the machine wipe downward along a specific path from its current position.
  • Circular Cleaning Key: Press this key to perform fixed-point cleaning.

5.4 Removing the Machine

  1. After the machine stops working, hold the machine firmly and press and hold the start button.
  2. Once the machine operation sound becomes smaller, carefully remove the machine from the glass.
  3. If the machine cannot be reached after the wiping work is completed, use the remote control to move it to a convenient position for manual retrieval, then remove it.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Wiping Cloths

  1. Remove the used wiping cloths from the turntables.
  2. Soak the cloths in clean water at around 20°C for 2 minutes.
  3. Clean them with a soft-bristled brush. Do not rub or wring them out forcefully.
  4. Let them air dry naturally before using them again.

6.2 Chassis Cleaning

For the bottom suction port, wipe it clean with a dry cloth to avoid damage to the product's suction force.

6.3 Nozzle Replacement

If the machine cannot spray water in the wet wiping mode when turned on, it is considered that the nozzle is blocked and needs to be replaced.

  1. First, clamp the blue nozzle part with pliers and directly pull off the nozzle.
  2. Find a new nozzle from the packaging accessories and press it directly into place for installation.

6.4 Storage After Use

  1. After using the machine, please drain all the water from the water tank.
  2. Replace the used wiping cloth with a clean and dry wiping cloth, or store it without a wiping cloth.
  3. After the machine works in the wet wiping mode, it can be placed in a dry, ventilated, and cool place to disperse the moisture inside the machine for 1 to 2 days before storing it in its box.
