4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Insert two (2) AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
The remote control does not require any programming. Once batteries are installed, it is ready for immediate use with compatible Hitachi air conditioners. Batteries are not included with this product and must be purchased separately.

5. Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your Hitachi air conditioner. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the air conditioner. The maximum effective range is approximately 10 meters.
5.1 Basic Functions
- Power On/Off: Press the '入タイマー' (On Timer) button to turn the unit on, and '停止' (Stop) to turn it off.
- Mode Selection: Use the '暖房' (Heating), '除湿' (Dehumidify), and '冷房' (Cooling) buttons to select the desired operating mode.
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the up/down arrow buttons (often labeled '設定温度' or near '室温') to increase or decrease the temperature.
- Fan Speed: Press the '風速' (Fan Speed) button to cycle through available fan speed settings.
- Air Direction: Use the '風向' (Air Direction) button to adjust the louver direction.
- Timer: Use the '切タイマー' (Off Timer) button to set the off timer.
- Reset: The 'リセット' (Reset) button can be used to clear settings or troubleshoot minor issues.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface or internal components.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Storage: If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new ones.
- Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote control and the air conditioner's infrared receiver.
- Confirm that the remote is pointed directly at the air conditioner.
- Certain functions do not work:
- This remote supports common functions. If a specific function is not working, it may be that your air conditioner model does not support that function via this remote, or the function is not mapped to a button on this replacement remote.
- Refer to your air conditioner's original manual for specific function availability.
- Short operating range:
- Replace batteries with new ones.
- Ensure no strong light sources (like direct sunlight) are interfering with the infrared signal.

This ALLIMITY remote control comes with a 1 Year Warranty Against Manufacturer Defects from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or battery leakage.
