1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Earphones

Before first use, fully charge your earphones. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the neckband and a power source. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 23 hours of playback (ANC off) or 14 hours (ANC on). A quick 15-minute charge can provide up to 5 hours of playback.

3.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the earphones are charged and powered off.
2. Press and hold the multi-function button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "Edifier W280NB PRO" from the list to connect. Once connected, the LED will flash blue slowly.

The earphones support Bluetooth 5.4 for stable and efficient connection.

3.3 EDIFIER ConneX App

Download the EDIFIER ConneX app from your device's app store for additional features and customization, including equalizer adjustments and ANC mode control.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds.

4.2 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Single press the multi-function button.
• Next Track: Double press the '+' button.
• Previous Track: Double press the '-' button.
• Volume Up: Single press the '+' button.
• Volume Down: Single press the '-' button.

4.3 Call Management

The earphones feature AI Noise Cancelling for clear calls, minimizing background noise.

• Answer/End Call: Single press the multi-function button.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds.

4.4 Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Modes

The W280NB PRO offers hybrid ANC with up to -45dB noise reduction. Cycle through modes by pressing the ANC button:

• High Noise Cancelling: For maximum noise reduction in loud environments.
• Medium Noise Cancelling: For moderate noise reduction.
• Ambient Sound Mode: Allows you to hear your surroundings while listening to audio.
• Wind Noise Reduction: Specifically designed to minimize wind interference.

4.5 Game Mode

Activate Game Mode for ultra-low latency (60ms) to ensure synchronized audio and video during gaming. Refer to the app for activation.

4.6 Multipoint Connection

The earphones support multipoint connection, allowing you to connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This enables seamless switching between devices, for example, from a laptop to a phone for an incoming call.

4.7 Magnetic Earbuds

The earbuds feature a magnetic design, allowing them to snap together when not in use. This helps prevent tangling and secures them around your neck.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the ear tips and ear wings with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, remove the ear tips and wash them with mild soap and water, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.2 Water and Sweat Resistance

The earphones are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor activities. However, they are not designed for submersion in water. Avoid exposing them to excessive moisture or direct water jets.

5.3 Storage
