3. Setup & Installation
Mounting Options:
The NT201 offers flexible mounting for various bicycle setups:
- Seat Post Mount (ABM15): Suitable for round and aero seat posts with a maximum width of 4.5 cm.
- Saddle Rail Mount (ABM16): For direct attachment to the saddle rails.

Installation Steps:
- Choose the appropriate mount (ABM15 for seat post, ABM16 for saddle rail) based on your bicycle's design.
- Securely attach the chosen mount to your bike. Ensure it is tight and stable.
- Slide the NT201 Radar Tail Light onto the mount until it clicks into place.
- Ensure the tail light is positioned vertically and facing directly backward for optimal radar performance. Avoid any obstructions that might block the radar's view.
4. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Mode Switching:
With the device powered on, short press the power button to cycle through the 6 available light modes:
- High Light (80 lumens)
- Low Light
- Slow Flash
- Warning Flash (80 lumens, up to 16 hours)
- Daytime Warning
- Pulse Mode

Radar Functionality & Alerts:
The NT201's intelligent radar monitors traffic behind you up to 140 meters away with a 40° detection angle. When connected to a compatible ANT+ cycle computer, you will receive both visual and audible alerts for approaching vehicles.

Brake Light & Auto On/Off:
- Brake Light: The light automatically brightens for 2 seconds when it detects braking, providing an additional safety warning.
- Auto On/Off: The light will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of no movement and reactivate when motion is detected, conserving battery life.

Battery Level Check:
When the tail light is off, a single short press of the power button will display the current battery level.

5. Maintenance
Charging:
- Use the provided USB-C charging cable to charge the device.
- Connect the USB-C end to the tail light and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).

Cleaning & Storage:

6. Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. If fully charged, try resetting the device by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
- Radar not detecting vehicles: Check that the tail light is mounted vertically and facing backward without obstruction. Ensure your ANT+ cycle computer is properly paired and configured.
- Short battery life: Ensure the device is fully charged. Check the selected light mode, as higher brightness modes consume more power.
- Water ingress: The device is IPX6 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand heavy splashes and rain. However, it is not designed for submersion. If water enters the device, discontinue use and contact support.
