Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of your new PZL Replacement Remote Control. This remote is designed to be compatible with various adjustable bed bases, including Richmat HJH55, HJH92S, Mattress Firm 600/3000 Series NU203CB, and BCP Adjustable Bed Frames SKY8064, SKY8065, SKY5671, SKY5679.

Product Overview

The PZL Replacement Remote Control features an ergonomic design for comfortable handling and responsive buttons for intuitive operation. Below is an illustration of the remote's layout and key functions.

Button Functions:

• TV: Adjusts the bed to a TV viewing position.
• LOUNGE: Adjusts the bed to a lounge position.
• ZG (Zero Gravity): Adjusts the bed to a zero-gravity position.
• HEAD UP/DOWN: Controls the upward and downward movement of the head section.
• FOOT UP/DOWN: Controls the upward and downward movement of the foot section.
• M1 / M2: Programmable memory positions. Press and hold to save a desired position.
• FLAT: Returns the bed to a flat position.
• 10 MIN / 20 MIN: Timer functions (specific functionality may vary by bed base).
• HEAD (Massage): Activates/deactivates head massage (if supported by bed base).
• FOOT (Massage): Activates/deactivates foot massage (if supported by bed base).
• TIMER/ALL OFF: Turns off all active functions or sets a timer.
• LIGHT: Controls under-bed lighting (if supported by bed base).
• MODE: Cycles through massage modes (if supported by bed base).

Battery Installation

The remote control requires two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Setup and Pairing Instructions

To ensure your remote control communicates with your adjustable bed base, it must be paired. There are typically three pairing methods. If one method fails, please try another.

Pairing Method 1:

1. Press and hold the Head Up and Foot Up buttons on the remote control simultaneously for 10 seconds.
2. At the same time, locate and press and hold the Reset Coding button on the side of the bed's control box (this button is sometimes located on the power cord).
3. You will hear a beep, indicating successful pairing.

Pairing Method 2:

1. Press and hold the Head Down and Foot Up buttons on the remote control simultaneously for 10 seconds.
2. At the same time, locate and press and hold the Reset Coding button on the side of the bed's control box.
3. You will hear a beep, indicating successful pairing.

Pairing Method 3:

1. Press and hold the Head Up and Foot Down buttons on the remote control simultaneously for 10 seconds.
2. At the same time, locate and press and hold the Reset Coding button on the side of the bed's control box.
3. You will hear a beep, indicating successful pairing.

If pairing continues to fail after trying all methods, please refer to the troubleshooting section or contact customer support.

Operating Instructions

Once paired, your remote control is ready for use. Point the remote towards the bed base and press the desired function button.

• Adjusting Positions: Use the HEAD UP/DOWN and FOOT UP/DOWN buttons to independently adjust the head and foot sections of your bed.
• Pre-set Positions: Press TV, LOUNGE, or ZG to move the bed to these pre-programmed comfort positions.
• Flat Position: Press the FLAT button to return the bed to a completely flat position.
• Memory Positions (M1, M2): To save a custom position, adjust the bed to your desired setting, then press and hold either M1 or M2 until the bed briefly moves or beeps, indicating the position is saved. To recall a saved position, simply press M1 or M2.
• Massage Functions: If your bed base supports massage, use the HEAD and FOOT massage buttons to activate/deactivate massage for each section. The MODE button may cycle through different massage patterns or intensities.
• Timer Functions: The 10 MIN and 20 MIN buttons may activate a timer for certain functions (e.g., massage). The TIMER/ALL OFF button can turn off all active functions or set a general timer.
• Under-bed Light: Press the LIGHT button to turn on or off any integrated under-bed lighting.

The specific functionality of some buttons (e.g., timer, massage modes, light) may depend on the features of your adjustable bed base.
