5.6 Drainage Options
Your dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:
- Manual Drainage (Water Tank): The collected water accumulates in the 2.5 L (0.66 Gal) removable water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and the 'FULL' indicator will light up. Carefully remove the tank, empty the water, and reinsert it correctly to resume operation.
- Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose): For extended use without frequent emptying, attach the included 6.56 ft drain hose to the continuous drain port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink) ensuring it is sloped downwards for gravity drainage.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
6.1 Emptying the Water Tank
When the 'FULL' indicator illuminates, the water tank needs to be emptied. Pull out the water tank from the front of the unit, discard the collected water, and slide the tank back into place until it clicks securely. The unit will resume operation.
6.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
The detachable air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. A dirty filter can reduce efficiency.
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.
6.3 Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure no water enters the internal components.
6.4 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the air filter is clean and dry. Coil the power cord neatly. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
