Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use. Keep the device away from water and extreme temperatures. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself. Avoid installing the sensor on metal doors or near strong electromagnetic fields, as this may interfere with its performance.

Package Contents

  • 1 x Door Sensor (Transmitter)
  • 1 x Chime Receiver
  • 1 x User Manual
  • Double-sided Adhesive Tape
  • 4 x LR44 Batteries (included in sensor)

Setup

  1. Prepare the Sensor (Transmitter):
    • Locate the small plastic insulating tab on the side of the door sensor. Gently pull and remove this tab to activate the pre-installed LR44 batteries.
    • Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the sensor is set to the 'ON' position.
  2. Prepare the Installation Surface:
    • Clean the area on your door and door frame where the sensor and magnetic strip will be installed. Ensure the surface is dry and free of dust or grease for optimal adhesive performance.
  3. Mount the Sensor and Magnetic Strip:
    • Attach the double-sided adhesive tape to the back of both the sensor and the magnetic strip.
    • Affix the main sensor unit to the door frame and the smaller magnetic strip to the door itself.
    • Important: Align the triangular symbols (arrows) on both parts of the sensor. The gap between the sensor and the magnetic strip should be less than 0.78 inches (2 cm) when the door is closed.
  4. Plug in the Receiver:
    • Plug the chime receiver into a standard electrical outlet in a central location within your home or business.
  5. Initial Pairing (Pre-paired):
    • The sensor and receiver are typically pre-paired from the factory. Open and close the door where the sensor is installed. The receiver should chime and/or flash its RGB light.

Operating

    • Press the 'Previous Chime' button (usually marked with an arrow pointing left) to go back to previous melodies.
  2. Adjusting Volume:

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the sensor and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement (Sensor): If the LED light on the transmitter does not light up when the magnetic strip is separated, the batteries may need replacement. Carefully open the sensor casing, remove the old LR44 batteries, and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity.

Troubleshooting

  • Chime not ringing:
    • Check if the receiver is plugged into a working outlet.
    • Ensure the sensor's ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position and its batteries are functional.
    • Verify the magnetic strip and sensor are aligned correctly and the gap is less than 0.78 inches.
    • Check if the receiver's volume is set to mute. Briefly press the volume button to increase the volume.
    • Re-pairing: If the pairing between the transmitter and receiver is accidentally cleared (e.g., by long-pressing the volume button), follow these steps:
      1. Press and hold the 'Next Chime' button on the receiver for over 3 seconds. You will hear a "ding dong" sound, indicating the receiver is in pairing mode.
      2. Separate the magnetic sensor parts (move the door sensor magnet away). The chime receiver will play the default chime sound, confirming that the pairing is successfully completed.
  • Limited Range:
    • Ensure the receiver is placed in a central location, free from obstructions.
    • Avoid installing the sensor on metal surfaces or near large metal objects, as this can reduce the wireless range.
