5. Assembly and Setup

Before first use, wash all removable parts in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Ensure the motor base is unplugged from the power outlet.

5.1. Assembling the Food Processor

  1. Place the food processor bowl onto the motor base, aligning the bowl handle with the locking mechanism on the base. Turn clockwise until it locks securely.
  2. Insert the desired blade or disc onto the central shaft inside the bowl. Ensure it sits firmly.
  3. Add your ingredients to the bowl.
  4. Place the lid onto the bowl, aligning the lid tab with the handle, and turn clockwise until it locks. The appliance will not operate unless the lid is correctly locked.
  5. Insert the pusher into the feed tube on the lid.

5.2. Assembling the Blender

  1. Ensure the blender blade assembly is securely attached to the bottom of the blender jar.
  2. Add your ingredients to the blender jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  3. Place the blender lid onto the jar and turn clockwise to secure. Insert the measuring cup into the lid opening.
  4. Place the assembled blender jar onto the motor base, aligning it correctly.

6. Operation

Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled and locked before plugging it in and operating.

6.1. Using the Food Processor

  1. With the food processor assembled and ingredients added, plug the appliance into a power outlet.
  2. Turn the speed dial to the desired speed (1 or 2) or to the 'Pulse' setting for short bursts.
  3. For continuous operation, select speed 1 or 2. For intermittent processing, use the 'Pulse' function.
  4. When using the slicing/shredding disc, feed ingredients through the feed tube using the pusher. Do not force ingredients.
  5. Once processing is complete, turn the speed dial to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.
  6. Wait for the blades to stop completely before unlocking and removing the lid and bowl.

6.2. Using the Blender

  1. With the blender assembled and ingredients added, plug the appliance into a power outlet.
  2. Turn the speed dial to the desired speed (1 or 2) or to the 'Pulse' setting for short bursts.
  3. For best results with ice or hard ingredients, use the 'Pulse' function initially.
  4. Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 60 seconds. Allow it to rest between cycles.
  5. Once blending is complete, turn the speed dial to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.
  6. Wait for the blades to stop completely before unlocking and removing the blender jar.

6.3. Using the Juicer Attachment
