4.1. Control Panel Layout

5. Setup Guide
5.1. Powering On the Mixer
The BOMGE 12F-W mixer is powered via a 5V USB connection. This allows for flexible power options, including a standard USB power adapter, a computer USB port, or a mobile power bank.
- Connect the provided USB power cable to the "MP3/PC MODE SWITCH" USB socket on the rear of the mixer.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible 5V USB power source.
- The mixer will power on automatically.

5.2. Connecting Input Devices
The mixer supports various input devices, including microphones, musical instruments, and other audio sources.

- Microphones: Connect XLR or 1/4" TRS cables from your microphones to the MIC/LINE input jacks (1-10). For condenser microphones, activate the +48V phantom power switch for the respective channel.
- Instruments: Connect instruments like guitars or keyboards to the MIC/LINE input jacks (1-10) using 1/4" TRS cables.
- Line-Level Devices: Use 6.35mm jack (L/R) stereo input or RCA (L/R) input for connecting line-level audio devices.

5.3. Connecting Output Devices
Connect your speakers, headphones, or recording devices to the mixer's output ports.
- Main Output: Connect your main speakers or power amplifier to the XLR or RCA MAIN OUT (L/R) jacks.
- Headphones: Plug your headphones into the 3.5mm PHONES jack for monitoring.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Basic Mixing
- Ensure all input devices are connected and powered on.
- Set all channel GAIN controls to minimum and channel faders to zero before starting.
- Gradually increase the GAIN control for each input channel until the PEAK indicator flashes only occasionally.
- Adjust the channel faders to balance the levels of each input.
- Use the EQ controls (HIGH, MID, LOW) to shape the tone of each channel as desired.
- Adjust the PAN control to position the sound in the stereo field.
- Slowly raise the MAIN LEVEL control to achieve the desired overall output volume.
6.2. Using DSP Effects
The mixer includes 99 built-in DSP effects to enhance your audio.

- Use the DSP program selection knob to cycle through the 99 available effects. The selected effect number will be displayed on the screen.
- Adjust the EFF (Effect Send) knob on each channel to send the desired amount of that channel's signal to the effects processor.
- Use the FX VOL (Effect Volume) control to adjust the overall level of the applied effect.
- Some effects may have adjustable parameters (e.g., delay time, reverb decay) which can be controlled via the DSP controls.
6.3. Bluetooth Connectivity
Connect your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device to the mixer for wireless audio playback.

- Press the "BT" button on the mixer's control panel to activate Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BT".
- On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "BOMGE Mixer" (or similar name) from the list to pair.
- Once connected, you can play audio from your device through the mixer. Use the mixer's controls to adjust the volume of the Bluetooth input.
6.4. USB Audio Interface / MP3 Playback
The USB port allows for connection to a computer for recording/playback or for playing MP3 files from a USB flash drive.

- USB Flash Drive: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port. The mixer will automatically detect and begin playing. Use the built-in controls (Play/Pause, Skip Tracks, Mode) to navigate.
- Computer Connection: Connect the mixer to your computer via a USB cable. The mixer will be recognized as an audio interface. You can then use your preferred DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software for recording or playback.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the mixer. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the mixer to strong impacts.
- Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
