Setup
1. Initial Setup
- Insert batteries into the main unit and the outdoor sensor according to the polarity markings.
- Place the main unit on a stable, flat surface using its integrated table stand.
- The main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. Ensure the sensor is within range.
- The device will attempt to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Follow the on-screen prompts or use the 'DirektWetter' app for configuration.
2. Outdoor Sensor Placement
Position the TX205DTH outdoor sensor in a location that provides accurate readings and is protected from direct sunlight and heavy precipitation. Ensure it is within the wireless range of the main unit. While the sensor is designed for outdoor use, direct exposure to extreme weather conditions may affect its longevity and accuracy.
3. App Connection ('DirektWetter')
Download the 'DirektWetter' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Follow the in-app instructions to connect your WD2700 weather station to your smartphone for remote monitoring and advanced settings.
Operating Instructions
1. Display Overview
The main unit's display shows various data points:
- Time and Date: Current time and calendar information.
- Wi-Fi Status: Indicates connection to your wireless network.
- Outdoor Data: Temperature and humidity from the external sensor.
- Indoor Data: Temperature and humidity measured by the main unit.
- 'Feels Like' Temperature: Perceived temperature based on wind and humidity.
- Barometric Pressure: Current atmospheric pressure.

2. Time and Date Settings
The time and date are typically synchronized automatically via the Wi-Fi connection. Manual adjustments can usually be made through the 'DirektWetter' app or specific buttons on the device (refer to the quick start guide for button functions).
3. Temperature and Humidity Readings
The station displays indoor and outdoor temperatures and humidity levels. The outdoor temperature range is -30°C to 70°C, and the indoor range is -20°C to 60°C. Humidity is measured from 20% to 95% for both indoor and outdoor environments.
4. Wind Data
The WD2700 provides real-time wind direction and speed measurements, contributing to a comprehensive weather analysis.
5. Weather Forecast
The station offers a 4-day weather forecast, including precipitation risks and weather trends, allowing for better planning of daily activities.
