5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer unit.
  2. Open the compartment cover.

Connect your garden hoses or irrigation lines to the four independent outlets at the bottom of the timer. Tighten connections to prevent leaks.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Setting Current Time

  1. Rotate the large dial to the SET CLOCK position.
  2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the current hour. Press OK to confirm.
  3. Adjust the current minute using + and - buttons. Press OK to confirm.

6.2 Automatic Watering Mode

This mode allows you to set a recurring watering schedule for each zone.

  1. Set Start Time: Rotate the dial to START TIME. Select the desired zone (1-4) using the zone buttons. Use + and - to set the watering start time for that zone, then press OK. Repeat for other zones as needed.
  2. Set How Long (Duration): Rotate the dial to HOW LONG. Select the zone. Use + and - to set the watering duration (1 minute to 11 hours 59 minutes), then press OK. Repeat for other zones.
  3. Set How Often (Frequency): Rotate the dial to HOW OFTEN. Select the zone. Use + and - to set the watering frequency (e.g., every 6 hours, every 2 days), then press OK. Repeat for other zones.
  4. Activate Program: Rotate the dial to ON. The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedule.

6.3 Manual Watering Mode

To water immediately without altering your programmed schedule:

  1. Press the MANUAL button on the timer unit.
  2. Use the zone buttons (1-4) to select the desired zone(s) for manual watering.
  3. Use the + and - buttons to set the manual watering duration.
  4. Press OK to start manual watering.
  5. To stop manual watering, press MANUAL again or rotate the dial to OFF.

6.4 Rain Delay Function

To temporarily pause your watering schedule due to rain:

  1. Press the DELAY button.
  2. Repeatedly press DELAY to cycle through delay options: 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, or no delay.
  3. The timer will automatically resume its programmed schedule after the selected delay period.

6.5 Using the Remote Control
