1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your GT-Lite 2x2 Feet LED Flat Panel Light. This product is designed for both flush mount and drop ceiling installations, offering versatile lighting solutions for various indoor environments such as bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, laundry rooms, restrooms, offices, dining rooms, warehouses, and garages.

Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety.

2. Safety Information

• WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installation or servicing.
• Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all national and local electrical codes.
• Do not install this fixture in wet locations. Suitable for indoor use only.
• Ensure the supply voltage is compatible with the fixture (120 Volts).
• Do not attempt to modify the fixture. Any modifications may void the warranty and create a safety hazard.
• Handle the product with care to avoid damage to the light panel or frame.

4. Components Included

5. Setup & Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply is disconnected at the circuit breaker to prevent electric shock.

5.1. Pre-Installation Steps

1. Unpack the LED flat panel light and inspect for any damage.
2. Identify the desired color temperature (CCT) and brightness level using the switches on the side of the fixture before installation. Refer to Section 6 for details.
3. Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, drill (for flush mount), safety glasses, and gloves.

5.2. Flush Mounting Installation

1. Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened to a structural element.
2. Connect the electrical wires: black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and green/bare copper to green (ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
3. Carefully tuck the wires into the junction box.
4. Align the LED panel with the mounting bracket and secure it by twisting or sliding it into place, depending on the bracket design.

5.3. Drop Ceiling Installation

1. Remove an existing 2x2 feet ceiling tile from the grid.
2. Connect the electrical wires from the ceiling to the LED panel: black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and green/bare copper to green (ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
3. Carefully place the LED panel into the ceiling grid, ensuring it sits flush and is supported by the grid.
4. Secure the panel to the grid using the provided clips or safety wires, if applicable, to prevent accidental dislodgement.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Adjusting Color Temperature (CCT)

The GT-Lite LED Flat Panel Light features 5 selectable color temperatures. Before installation, locate the CCT switch on the side of the fixture. Slide the switch to select your desired color temperature:

• 2700K: Warm White (Yellow warm and soft)
• 3000K: Soft White
• 3500K: Neutral Light
• 4000K: Daylight
• 6500K: Cool White (Ultra-bright white)

6.2. Adjusting Brightness (Dimming)

The fixture offers 3 levels of brightness adjustment. Locate the brightness switch on the side of the fixture. Slide the switch to select the desired wattage/brightness level (e.g., 45W, 34W, 23W). This setting should also be made prior to installation.

The light output is also dimmable when paired with compatible dimmer switches (sold separately). Ensure your dimmer switch is compatible with LED fixtures.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface of the fixture. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Bulb Replacement: This fixture uses integrated LED components and does not require bulb replacement.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are found, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.

10. Warranty and Support

This GT-Lite LED Flat Panel Light comes with a 1-year manufacturer's limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or modifications.
