Setup

1. Battery Installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the main sensor unit.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two (2) AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Batteries are not included.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely to ensure weather resistance.

2. Channel Selection:

The sensor supports 7 selectable channels. Choose a channel that is not currently in use by other sensors connected to your BRESSER weather station. This prevents interference and ensures accurate data transmission.

Operating Instructions

Once the batteries are installed and the sensor is placed, it will automatically begin transmitting data to your compatible BRESSER weather station.

• Data Transmission: The sensor transmits soil temperature and moisture data every 60 seconds.
• Transmission Range: The wireless signal can reach up to 150 meters (approximately 492 feet) in open areas. Obstacles such as walls, trees, and electronic devices can reduce this range.
• Viewing Data: Refer to your BRESSER weather station's instruction manual for specific details on how to view and interpret the soil temperature and moisture readings from this additional sensor.

Maintenance

• Weather Resistance: The sensor features a weatherproof housing designed to withstand outdoor conditions. However, avoid submerging the main unit in water.
• Cleaning: Periodically clean the soil probe and the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the probe is free of excessive soil buildup for accurate readings.
