4. Installation Instructions

This air conditioner is designed for installation in standard double-hung windows with a width between 23 inches and 34 inches (584mm-863mm) and a vertical clearance of at least 14.5 inches. For detailed steps, refer to the illustrated manual included in your package.

General Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Window: Ensure the window opening meets the specified dimensions. Clean the window sill and frame.
  2. Install Top Rail: Attach the top rail to the unit using the provided screws.
  3. Attach Filler Panels: Slide the filler panels into the side channels of the unit.
  4. Place Unit in Window: Carefully lift the unit and place it in the window opening, ensuring the bottom rail rests on the window sill. It is recommended to have assistance due to the unit's weight (approximately 36.3 lbs).
  5. Extend Filler Panels: Extend the filler panels to fill the window opening completely and secure them with screws.

5. Operating Instructions

The ZAFRO A8505W-5K can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control. The digital display shows the current temperature and selected settings.

Control Panel and Remote Functions:

  • POWER Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
  • MODE Button: Cycles through operating modes:
    • COOL: Provides cooling with adjustable temperature and fan speed.
    • FAN: Circulates air without cooling. Choose from High, Medium, Low, or Auto fan speeds.

6. Maintenance
