1. Introduction

The EZON Heart Rate Monitor and Chest Strap (Model T007A11) is designed to provide accurate, real-time heart rate data for various fitness activities. This manual provides detailed instructions on how to set up, operate, and maintain your device to ensure optimal performance and longevity. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor sports, helping you monitor your exercise intensity and calorie expenditure effectively.

2. What's Included

Upon unboxing your EZON Heart Rate Monitor, please ensure all the following components are present:

• 1 x Heart Rate Watch
• 1 x Chest Strap (Transmitter and elastic belt)
• 1 x User Manual

3. Setup

3.1 Activating the Watch Display

To activate the watch display for the first time, press and hold all four buttons simultaneously until the display illuminates. This initiates the watch's functionality.

3.2 Wearing the Chest Strap

For accurate heart rate monitoring, the chest strap must be worn correctly. Moisten the electrode areas on the back of the chest strap with water or electrode gel. Position the strap directly against your skin, just below your chest muscles. Ensure the EZON logo on the transmitter is facing forward and centered on your chest. The elastic strap should be snug but comfortable, allowing for full range of motion.

3.3 Pairing the Watch and Chest Strap

The EZON Heart Rate Monitor watch and chest strap are designed to pair automatically when the chest strap is worn and activated. Ensure the watch is within close proximity to the chest strap for initial connection. Once connected, your real-time heart rate will be displayed on the watch. The device uses coded heart rate transmission to avoid cross-talk with other devices.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Heart Rate Monitoring

Once the chest strap is properly worn and paired, the watch will continuously display your real-time heart rate in beats per minute (BPM). You can set manual heart rate target zones. An audio and visual alarm will alert you if your heart rate falls outside your set target zone, helping you maintain optimal exercise intensity.

4.2 Calorie Tracking

The watch features an intelligent calorie calculation function. Based on your personal data (which can be input into the watch settings), it provides an accurate estimate of calories burned during your workout. This feature helps you track your energy expenditure and manage your fitness goals.

4.3 Stopwatch Function

The watch includes a full-featured stopwatch. Press the designated button (ST/STP) to start and stop the timer. This is useful for timing your exercise intervals or overall workout duration.

4.4 Hourly Chime and Alarms

The device supports an hourly chime feature, providing an audible alert at the top of each hour. You can also set specific alarms for reminders or to signal the start/end of your workout sessions.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean your EZON Heart Rate Monitor and Chest Strap to ensure hygiene and proper function. Wipe the watch with a soft, damp cloth. The chest strap can be rinsed with water after each use and allowed to air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6.2 Battery Replacement

The watch and chest strap use CR2032 button cell batteries. When the battery level is low, the display may dim or readings may become erratic. To replace the battery, carefully open the battery compartment using a small screwdriver or coin, depending on the design. Replace with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity. Securely close the compartment to maintain water resistance.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Heart Rate Reading:
  • Ensure the chest strap electrodes are moistened and making good skin contact.
  • Check if the chest strap battery needs replacement.
  • Verify the watch display is activated (press and hold all four buttons).
  • Ensure the watch and chest strap are within close proximity for pairing.
• Erratic or Inaccurate Readings:
  • Re-moisten the chest strap electrodes.
  • Adjust the chest strap position for better contact.
  • Check for potential electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices.
  • Consider replacing the chest strap battery.
• Watch Display Not Working:
  • Press and hold all four buttons to activate the display.
  • Replace the watch battery (CR2032).
