1. Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the TOAUTO WMFD-15L Digital Commercial Wax Melter. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply matches the unit's requirements (AC120V / 1100W). Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- Hot Surfaces: The wax melter and its contents will become very hot during operation. Always use heat-resistant gloves and avoid direct contact with hot surfaces. The pouring spout also contains a heating core and will be hot.
- Water and Wax: Keep water away from liquid wax to avoid splashing and potential burns. Never immerse the main unit in water.
- Ventilation: Operate the wax melter in a well-ventilated area to prevent the buildup of fumes, especially when adding fragrances or dyes.
- Stability: Place the unit on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface to prevent tipping.
- Children and Pets: Keep the wax melter out of reach of children and pets at all times.
- Unattended Operation: Do not leave the wax melter unattended while in operation.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Adding Wax
- Open the melter lid.
- Pour at least 1/3 of the desired wax flakes (e.g., soy, paraffin, beeswax) into the melter. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Close the melter lid securely.

4.2 Power On and Temperature Setting
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the unit. The digital display will illuminate.
- To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press and hold the SET button for 6 seconds. The display will change units. Press SET again to confirm your selection.
- Use the + and – buttons to adjust the desired melting temperature. The melter will automatically heat to and maintain this temperature.

4.3 Melting Process
- The melter will begin heating the wax. For faster melting, especially with larger quantities, you may temporarily set the temperature to a higher level and stir occasionally.
- Once the wax is fully melted, promptly reduce the temperature to the wax's recommended pouring temperature to avoid burning or overheating.
- Stir the wax frequently during the melting process to ensure even heating and consistent temperature throughout.
4.4 Pouring Wax
- Ensure your candle containers are prepared with wicks.
- Place your pouring pitcher or container directly under the quick pour spout.
- Open the valve on the pouring spout to release the melted wax. The internal heating core helps prevent clogging for a smooth flow.
- Close the valve once the desired amount of wax has been dispensed.

4.5 Anti-Dry Burn Protection
The TOAUTO WMFD-15L is equipped with an anti-dry burn protection feature. If the wax level becomes too low and the temperature sensor at the bottom is exposed to air, the unit will automatically stop heating to prevent damage and extend its lifespan.
5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your wax melter.
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, allow the unit to cool down. Remove any leftover wax promptly. Clean the interior with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Spout Cleaning: Ensure the pouring spout is clear of any hardened wax. If clogged, allow the machine to heat for approximately 15 minutes until the wax melts. A hairdryer can also be used to blow warm air onto the spout to speed up the melting process.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect the heating elements, thermostat, and power cord for any signs of wear or damage. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
- Storage: Store the wax melter in a clean, dry place when not in use.
Video 5.1: This video demonstrates important precautions for using the wax melter, including cleaning the furnace and preventing water splashes, which are crucial for maintenance and safety.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Wax not melting or melting slowly | Insufficient wax quantity; incorrect temperature setting; unit not powered on. | Ensure at least 1/3 wax is in the container. Check temperature setting and increase if necessary. Verify unit is powered on. Stir wax frequently. |
| Pouring spout is clogged | Hardened wax in the spout. | Allow the machine to heat for approximately 15 minutes until the wax melts. A hairdryer can also be used to blow warm air onto the spout to speed up the melting process. |
| Inaccurate temperature reading | Temperature sensor not fully submerged in wax; internal thermostat deviation. | Ensure the wax level is sufficient to fully submerge the temperature sensor at the bottom. If the deviation is significant, use an external thermometer for critical temperature measurements. |
| Unit stops heating unexpectedly | Anti-dry burn protection activated; power interruption. | Check wax level; if too low, add more wax. Verify power connection. If the wax level becomes too low and the sensor is exposed to air, turn off the machine immediately to prevent overheating or scorching the remaining wax. |
