2. Package Contents

3. Setup Guide
3.1 Connecting Peripherals
- Connect Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect the Mini PC to your monitor or TV. The device supports up to three displays via two HDMI 2.1 ports and one full-featured USB Type-C port.
- Connect Keyboard and Mouse: Plug your USB keyboard and mouse into the available USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports.
- Connect Network: For a wired connection, plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ45 port. For wireless, the device supports Wi-Fi.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC12V/2A port on the Mini PC, then connect it to a power outlet.

3.2 VESA Mount Installation
The Bmax Mini PC can be mounted to the back of a monitor or TV using the included VESA bracket to save desk space.
- Attach the metal bracket to the VESA mounting holes on the back of your monitor using the provided screws.
- Slide the Mini PC onto the bracket until it clicks securely into place.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Power Off: To safely shut down the system, go to the Windows Start Menu, select 'Power', and then 'Shut down'. Alternatively, you can press and hold the power button for a few seconds.
4.2 Display Configuration
The Mini PC supports connecting up to three displays simultaneously for extended desktop or mirrored display modes.
- Connect displays using the two HDMI 2.1 ports and the full-featured USB Type-C port.
- Adjust display settings (resolution, orientation, multiple display modes) through the Windows Display Settings.

4.3 USB Type-C Port Functionality

5. Maintenance and Upgrades
5.1 Upgrading RAM and Storage
The Bmax Mini PC B4 Turbo allows for user upgrades of RAM and storage. To access the internal components:
- Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from all power sources.
- Carefully remove the four screws on the bottom plate of the Mini PC.
- Gently lift the bottom plate to reveal the SODIMM RAM slot, the M.2 SSD, and the connector/mount for a 2.5-inch SATA drive.
- Install or replace components as needed. The device supports 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB M.2 SSD, with an option to add a 2.5-inch SATA drive.
- Reattach the bottom plate and secure it with the screws.

5.2 General Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the exterior of the Mini PC with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust accumulation.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 System Recovery (Factory Reset)
If you encounter persistent system issues, you can perform a factory reset using the Bmax Smart Recovery Environment.
- Power on the Mini PC. During startup, you may need to press a specific key (refer to on-screen prompts if available) to enter the recovery environment.
- In the Bmax Smart Recovery Environment, select 'Factory Reset' to restore your Windows system to its original factory settings.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. Warning: A factory reset will erase all data on your primary drive. Back up important files before proceeding.

6.2 Clear CMOS
If you experience boot issues or incorrect BIOS settings, you can clear the CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) to reset BIOS settings to default.
- Locate the 'Clear CMOS Button' on the front panel of the Mini PC (refer to Image 3.1).
- With the device powered off and disconnected from power, use a thin, non-conductive object (like a paperclip) to press and hold the Clear CMOS button for 5-10 seconds.
- Reconnect power and attempt to boot the system.
6.3 Common Issues
- No Display: Ensure all display cables are securely connected and the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source. Try connecting to a different display port or monitor.
- System Overheating: Ensure the Mini PC is placed in a well-ventilated area and that its vents are not obstructed. Avoid placing it on soft surfaces that can block airflow.
- Loud Fan Noise: While the device features a built-in cooling fan, prolonged heavy loads may increase fan speed and noise. Ensure proper ventilation. If noise is excessive during light use, contact support.
