3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Amicura Cura X1 Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box:

1. Install the Feet: Turn the base upside down and attach the four support feet securely.
2. Prepare Waste Bag: Place a waste bag into the waste drawer. Align the bag along the rim of the waste drawer and pass the drawstring through the clip to secure it.
3. Insert Waste Drawer: Slide the prepared waste drawer into the base of the unit.
4. Assemble Drum Interior: Use the cardboard box for stability. Align the deflector with label '1' and insert it into the slot of the rear cylinder. Then, align the litter mat with label '2' and the arrow, inserting it into the slot of the rear cylinder.
5. Connect Drum Halves: Assemble the front and rear cylinders. Reach inside and secure the clips at the indicated arrow locations. Align and attach the connection clips on the exterior, pressing firmly until they click into place.
6. Install Sifting Grille: Insert the sifting grille. Align it with label '3' inside the cylinder and the magnetic spot. Gently bend the grille to facilitate installation at the other end.
7. Install Axle Support: Place the axle support into the base and open its locking mechanism.
8. Mount Drum: First, position the round lug of the drum onto the axle support. Then, lower the spherical chamber (drum) into the base. Close the locking mechanism of the axle support.
9. Attach Top Cover: Align the two parts of the top cover using label '4' and assemble them. Align labels A/B on the main body and the top cover to assemble the cover.
10. Power On: Plug in the power adapter. The drum will rotate several times and then reset.
11. Add Litter: Pour an appropriate amount of cat litter into the drum, ensuring it does not exceed the MAX line.
12. Reset Weight: After adding litter, press and hold the 'Clean' button for 3 seconds to reset the weight. The display screen will turn off, indicating successful reset.
13. Start Operation: Press the 'Clean' button again to begin using the litter box.
