1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your ZERTRAN Android Car Stereo. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper functionality and safety. This head unit is designed for Peugeot 207 models from 2009 to 2013.

3. Package Contents

Note: If your car has an original factory amplifier, a CANBUS adapter may be required and is sold separately. Please contact the seller for more information.

4. Setup and Installation

Installation of the ZERTRAN Android Car Stereo requires technical knowledge and experience with car electronics. It is highly recommended to have the unit installed by a qualified professional to avoid damage to the product or your vehicle.

4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

• Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery's negative terminal is disconnected.
• Confirm compatibility with your Peugeot 207 (2009-2013).
• Gather necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire strippers, electrical tape).

4.2 Wiring Connections

Refer to the wiring diagram provided with your unit for specific connections. General connections include:

• Power Cable: Connect to vehicle's power, ground, and accessory wires.
• GPS Antenna: Mount in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., dashboard, under windshield).
• USB Cables: Route to a convenient location for connecting USB devices.
• RCA Cables: For external amplifiers or video outputs.
• Backup Camera: Connect the RCA video cable and power wires to the reverse light circuit.
• Steering Wheel Control Wires: Connect to the vehicle's SWC wires. Configuration will be done in the settings menu.

4.3 Initial Power-On

After all connections are secure, reconnect the vehicle's battery. Turn on the ignition. The unit should power on and display the boot logo. Follow on-screen prompts for initial setup.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Home Screen Navigation

The home screen provides access to all main functions. Swipe left/right to navigate between pages of applications. Tap an icon to launch an application.

5.2 CarPlay & Android Auto

To use CarPlay or Android Auto, connect your iPhone or Android phone via a USB cable to one of the unit's USB ports. The system will automatically detect and launch the respective interface. Follow the on-screen prompts on both the head unit and your phone to complete the connection.

5.3 GPS Navigation

The unit comes with built-in GPS. Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed. You can use pre-installed navigation apps or download others from the app store (requires WiFi connection). Satellite GPS can locate in real-time without a network connection, but for real-time traffic and updated maps, a WiFi connection is recommended.

5.4 FM Radio

Tap the "Radio" icon on the home screen to access the FM tuner. Use the on-screen controls to scan for stations, manually tune, or save favorite stations. Long press a frequency to save it as a preset.

5.5 Bluetooth Function (BT)

To pair your phone via Bluetooth:

1. Go to the "Bluetooth" application on the head unit.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for available devices.
3. Select the head unit's Bluetooth name (usually "CarBT" or similar) from your phone's list.
4. Confirm the pairing code on both devices.

Once paired, you can stream music, make hands-free calls, and sync contacts.

5.6 WiFi Connectivity

To connect to a WiFi network:

1. Go to "Settings" and select "Network & Internet" or "WiFi".
2. Turn on WiFi and select your desired network from the list.
3. Enter the password if prompted.

Once connected, you can browse the internet, download apps, and use online navigation features.

5.7 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

To configure steering wheel controls:

1. Go to "Settings" and find the "Steering Learn" or "SWC" option.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to map your vehicle's steering wheel buttons to the corresponding functions on the head unit (e.g., volume up/down, track skip, mode).

This allows for quick and safe control of the unit while driving.

5.8 Car Reverser Camera

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the head unit will automatically display the feed from the connected rear view camera. Ensure the camera is properly installed and wired to the reverse light circuit for automatic activation.

5.9 Dual Screen Display

The unit supports dual screen display, allowing you to run two applications simultaneously on a split screen. For example, you can have navigation on one side and music playback on the other. To activate, long-press the recent apps button or use the split-screen function available in the Android system.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the touchscreen and unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates via WiFi to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures.
• Power Cycle: If the unit becomes unresponsive, perform a soft reset by holding the power button, or a hard reset by disconnecting the vehicle's battery for a few minutes.
