4. Operating Instructions (How to Play)
4.1. Game 1: Resbaladillas y Escaleras (Snakes and Ladders)
This classic game involves moving your pawn across a numbered board, aiming to reach the final space first.
- Objective: Be the first player to reach the last space on the board.
- Player Order: Each player rolls one die. The player with the highest roll goes first. Play proceeds clockwise.
- Taking a Turn: On your turn, roll one die and move your pawn forward the corresponding number of spaces.
- Ladders: If your pawn lands exactly on a space at the bottom of a ladder, you immediately move your pawn up to the space at the top of that ladder.
- Slides (Resbaladillas): If your pawn lands exactly on a space at the top of a slide, you immediately move your pawn down to the space at the bottom of that slide.
- Winning: To win, you must land on the final space by exact count. If your roll is higher than the number of spaces needed to reach the end, you do not move and must wait for your next turn to roll again.
4.2. Game 2: Camino a Casa (Road Home - Goose Game Style)
"Camino a Casa" is a journey-based game where players navigate a path with special spaces that can advance or delay their progress.
- Objective: Be the first player to reach the "Home" space.
- Player Order: Each player rolls one die. The player with the highest roll goes first. Play proceeds clockwise.
- Taking a Turn: On your turn, roll one die and move your pawn forward the corresponding number of spaces.
- Special Spaces: The board features various special spaces. Follow the instructions indicated on the space where your pawn lands. These may include:
- Advance to a specific space.
- Move back a certain number of spaces.
- Lose a turn.
- Roll again.
- Winning: The first player to land exactly on the "Home" space wins the game. If your roll takes you past the "Home" space, you must move back the excess number of spaces.
