3. Operation

Once installed, the Chuancheng HEPA filter operates passively as part of your vacuum cleaner's filtration system. It is designed to capture fine particles from the air as it passes through the vacuum, helping to maintain air quality.

The high-performance design of these filters allows them to remove up to 99.97% of microscopic particles, including dust, dirt, debris, and other allergens, from the air exhausted by your vacuum.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance of your Chuancheng HEPA filters is crucial for sustaining vacuum performance and filter efficiency. These filters are washable and reusable.

4.1. Cleaning Instructions

  1. Remove Filter: Carefully remove the filter from the vacuum cleaner as described in the installation section.
  2. Tap Out Debris: Gently tap the filter over a waste bin to dislodge any loose dust and debris.
  3. Rinse: Rinse the filter under cool, running water. Continue rinsing until the water runs clear. Avoid using hot water or detergents, as these can damage the filter material.
  4. Air Dry Completely: Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the vacuum. This typically takes at least 24 hours. Do not use heat sources (e.g., hair dryer, radiator) to speed up drying, as this can deform or damage the filter. Ensure the filter is bone dry to prevent mold growth and damage to the vacuum motor.

For optimal performance and to maintain effective filtration, it is recommended to replace your Chuancheng HEPA filters every 3 months. Replace filters sooner if you notice visible wear, damage, or a significant decrease in vacuum suction power, even after cleaning.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your vacuum cleaner after installing the replacement filters, consider the following:

  • Reduced Suction Power:
    • Check if the filter is clogged. Clean the filter according to the maintenance instructions.
    • Ensure the filter is installed correctly and the filter compartment is securely closed.
    • If the filter is old or damaged, replace it with a new one.
  • Unusual Odors from Vacuum:
    • The filter may have absorbed odors. Clean or replace the filter.
    • Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstallation to prevent mildew.
  • Filter Does Not Fit:
    • Verify that your vacuum model is listed under the compatible models in Section 1.
    • Double-check the orientation of the filter during installation.
