This monitor features a 34-inch curved VA panel with a 3440x1440 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms GTG response time, designed for immersive gaming and productivity. It also includes AMD FreeSync Premium for tear-free visuals and eye-care technologies to reduce strain.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not place the monitor near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging, keeping it protected on a soft surface.
  2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel using the provided screws.
  3. Connect the stand base to the stand neck and secure it with the thumb screw or screws.
  4. Ensure all connections are firm and stable before placing the monitor upright.

4.2 Connecting Cables

Connect the necessary cables to the corresponding ports on the back of the monitor and your computer.

  • Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN 12V port on the monitor, then plug the power cable into a wall outlet.
  • Video Input: Connect either an HDMI cable or a DisplayPort (DP) cable from your computer's graphics card to the corresponding HDMI or DP port on the monitor. For optimal performance (165Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium), DisplayPort is recommended.
  • Audio Output: If desired, connect external speakers or headphones to the Audio Out port.

5. Operating the Monitor

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button, usually located on the back or bottom of the monitor, to turn the monitor on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is on.

5.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Navigation

The monitor features an On-Screen Display (OSD) menu for adjusting various settings. Access the OSD menu by pressing the OSD button or joystick (location may vary) and navigate using the directional controls. Confirm selections with the appropriate button.

5.3 Adjusting Display Settings

Within the OSD menu, you can adjust settings such as:

  • Brightness/Contrast: Adjust the overall luminance and contrast ratio.
  • Color Settings: Modify color temperature, gamma, and individual RGB levels.
  • Input Source: Manually select between HDMI and DisplayPort inputs.
  • Refresh Rate: Ensure your computer's display settings are configured to utilize the monitor's 165Hz refresh rate for smooth motion.
  • FreeSync Premium: Enable AMD FreeSync Premium in the OSD menu and your graphics card settings to synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with your GPU's frame rate, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering.
  • Customizable Visual Modes: Select pre-set display modes optimized for different content types, such as FPS (First-Person Shooter), RTS (Real-Time Strategy), or MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) games.

6. Display Features

6.1 UltraWide Curved Display

The 34-inch UltraWide (21:9 aspect ratio) curved display with a 1500R curvature provides an immersive viewing experience, extending your field of view and reducing eye movement across the screen. The 3440x1440 QHD resolution offers sharp and detailed visuals.

6.2 VA Panel Technology

6.3 Eye Care Features

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Screen

To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive materials.

7.2 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the monitor's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the monitor.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Image/Signal:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the power outlet.
    • Verify that the video cable (HDMI or DisplayPort) is firmly connected to both the monitor and your computer's graphics card.
    • Check if the correct input source is selected in the monitor's OSD menu.
    • Confirm your computer is powered on and not in sleep mode.
  • Image Tearing or Stuttering:
    • Ensure AMD FreeSync Premium is enabled in both the monitor's OSD menu and your graphics card control panel.
    • Verify that your graphics card drivers are up to date.
    • Use a DisplayPort cable for optimal FreeSync performance.

  • Flickering Screen:
    • Check the video cable for damage or loose connections.
    • Ensure the refresh rate setting in your computer's display settings matches the monitor's capabilities (165Hz).
    • Disable any overclocking settings on your graphics card.
  • Dead Pixels:
    • A small number of bright or dark pixels are common in LCD/LED technology and are not considered a defect unless they exceed manufacturer specifications.
